First time here as it had really good reviews previously. Food was absolutely delicious and as it was our anniversary, they went out of their way to look after us. Fantastic food and great service and nice atmosphere.

Always good and reliable. Banquet option for four is ideal. Possibly our 4th visit. Pleasant surroundings. Probably would help with table space if delivery of main dishes was staggered a little.
I found this restaurant because it was not from my hotel. I appreciated food quality and service. It is not expensive… To be recommended.
Part of De Grand. New love on the block. We came across this new Thai café yesterday and returned as promised. Delightful Thai lady in attendance and pretty decor. It was also the spicy poached egg and tomatoes that arrested my attention. This and cheesy...chips all absolutely delicious. Reasonable prices. 🇬🇧🇳🇿More
Just want to acknowledge the generosity of the owner David who helped out a stranger at Bunnings by kindly offering to use his commercial vehicle to deliver some heavy duty items which was not supported by my compact car. He also saved me potential significant...damage to my car. Much appreciation and gratitude! Look forward to trying Thai food here and going back for tasty gelato at Boozy Gelato next door. Cheers, UyenMore
We returned to this restaurant after being away from Auckland for 3 years. The staff were as we remembered very polite, and unlike a number of restaurants, the place was spotlessly clean. However the food, while beautifully presented had dropped in flavour, my wife had...a Ginger Chicken, which is her go to, and it was lacking flavour. My Larb, my go to while tasty was more spicy than usual. We couldn't see anything on the menu about how hot we'd like it, and the waitress didn't ask.More
Excellent Thai food and service Large restaurant Fantastic lunch had the Pad See-Ew with prawns Really really nice lunch had flat noodles
Absolutely delicious food, great service and decor. Smart restaurant which is licensed and also BYO wine. Large enough to suit bigger groups and a very impressive menu to suit everyone.
Got take-away from here tonight and it was very bad compared to their usual standards. I had the Panang Curry with chicken, which by the description should be “Thick Red curry with coconut milk and crushed roasted peanuts Chicken, Beef or Pork,Prawns”. The actual dish...was a runny red curry with chicken in it. $25 for that. I could have easily use supermarket bought red curry paste, coconut milk and chicken and made the dish myself. There were no peanuts in the dish at all. My wife had Pad Thai with chicken, which she also said was very average and quite dry. Very disappointing as DeGrand used to be our favorite Thai restaurant. We will have to find a different local Thai restaurant in future.More
Lovely setting , clean fresh decor. Great friendly unobtrusive service. Awesome flavoursome food with nice options to choose from. Will definitely go back when next in Auckland
This is still a great restaurant, I’ve been here many times. However, it is not as good as it used to be. It used to be absolutely outstanding. The recipes have changed a little and I didn’t enjoy the food as much as I used...to. Due to corona virus fear, the restaurant was nearly empty on a Thursday night which meant the service was very fast and efficient but almost OTT , they really needed to just chill, we were in no hurry.More
Really enjoyed 90% of dishes - Crispy pork was a bit of a let down - really just a crumbed schnitzel - but everything else was lovely.
We were in the neighbour and chose this restaurant for dinner. The food tasted good and the service was very fast. Worth trying when you’re around.
Great food and amazing hospitality. Shout out to Park who was an incredible host and is the reason why we would definitely come back here on a regular basis!
What a rip off . we ordered chardonnay at $12 a glass and the wine serving was 85ml, we expected to be served a glass of 150ml as per normal industry standard. When we questioned the staff the answer was that is the size we...serve, 8 glasses to a bottle. The menu did not state any ml size if it had said 85ml we would not have ordered. The bottle price for the same wine was $48 so they are selling a bottle by the glass at $96 a 100% increase. Other operators may add 5-10% on the bottle price if served per glass at 5 glasses per bottle. The sizzling beef again had very little meat in it and was bulked out with vegetables. Whoever is designing the menus and drinks is putting getting maximum profit before customer satisfaction. Staffs attitude to both complaints was very nonchalant and on paying the bill did not acknowledge how we like our dinner or the overpriced wine they just took our payment hence we did not include any tip. We would not go here again and would not recommend you going.More
