I had to wait 45 mins for a chicken sandwich that still needed more time apparently! My husband had his food, which was average, arrive then we proceeded to wait while watching every other table get served! In the end my 6 month old was...getting grizzly so we had to leave, we just got a sorry muttered under the breath and as a breastfeeding mother I was starving and very disappointed. They could have offered some bread and given a reason for the appalling experience but nope the staff and chef seemed completely clueless. I wouldn't bother going here especially when there are a 101 other amazing restaurants in Britomart including newly established Commercial Bay.More

With seating inside or outside this sweet little Italian restaurant looks more like a cafe, but has waited tables and very tasty dishes with good variety on the menu. The wine selection is good as well and the service welcoming. Lovely gnocchi and risotto. Don't...go for the calamari, it seemed to come from a freezer box. Everything else was wonderful!More

Lovely service and great margaritas! Pizza was very delicious, especially the spicy chicken! Fries are worth adding to your order!

Went here for breakfast with my partner before 9am. We were the only ones in the restaurant with who seemed to be the owner and chef that morning. Ordered 2 eggs Benedict meals, quite small portions, yolk in the eggs were semi hard but still...tasted ok. Chef looked a bit uneasy and it felt like he was “keeping an eye” on us from the open kitchen the whole time we were there. Not once did he come over to check on us or ask how the meal was. When we went up to pay he was still standing in the kitchen pretending to clean looking directly at us until we had to verbally say we were ready to pay. Weird.More

The pasta dishes were excellent and I was thrilled at the prices! I was shocked at how expensive dinner costs in Auckland and even more shocked when I saw how relatively-inexpensive the food was at Hello! I ended up having 3 dinners there during my...2-week stay in New Zealand! I especially enjoyed the lasagna and the creamy chicken gnocchi. It is in the heart of downtown.More

When you travel and look for pizza, it can be so different all over the world. Hello was a nice treat as it was flavor and style that that spoke of home in the USA for me. I had arrived in Auckland on a Friday...night, and Friday night is great for pizza and beer! Worth a try for sure and I saw many others that had some pasta dishes that looked delicious as well.More
