Went with Friends whilst on Holidays. Was empressed with the ambience, the service and the food. Certainly far better than Restuarants nearby.

We had a lovely meal here. Our waitress was really friendly and nice. We had a cosy table in a corner without being super squashed in. The food was great but the chowder was a bit stodgy and had a skin on top as if...More

This eclectic boatie restaurant is decorated brilliantly, has great atmosphere and homely, comfort food. A favourite of our group was the Admiral’s Fresh Fish Pot. Not cheap at $44.90 and an extra $4.90 for rice, but full of flavour. A mildly spicy red curry bursting...More

The décor of this restaurant dates back to the themed restaurants of the 1970’s, the only thing missing was the staff were not dressed up as pirates. I went with a group, so we had a set menu but the price we paid per head...More

Okay 3rd time in Hobart and 1st time here. Very kitsch but our meals were very good and the young staff very friendly. It’s a busy place for families to eat - the kids will love this place.

As you walk into the drunken admiral you think wow! A very different restaurant to most. Lots of character. Meals were very generous and tasted great. Giving 4 stars due to price, however prices aren’t much different to others in this area. Overall an enjoyable,...More

One of Hobart's iconic restaurants and is popular with both locals and visitors to Hobart alike. We are a family run restaurant and we have been operating since 1979 offering the diner a truly unique experience and very fresh and tasty Tassie seafood and meals. The restaurant is world renowned, features in many global travel guides and is always popular – so reservations are advised! Open 7 days a week with parking out front.
