We stayed at the QT for 3 nights and since we were on a package, Breakfast was included at the Bazaar restaurant. The restaurant is bright and airy and the decor feels quite beachy. The service is excellent and we were shown to a table immediately. The Breakfast Buffet is amazing and everything was laid out very well. There was at least 8 cereals to select from and birchermuesli & porridge too. You could make your own veg. / fruit drink or smoothie in addition to a great range of juices. Hot food was plenty and was steaming hot. Lastly there was plenty of breads to choose from, an endless selection of danish pastries and even bread pudding! Over all the Buffet is one of the best we have had on our many travels all over the world. It is definitely worth it to pay a few dollars more and get it added on to your room rate.

Good afternoon Neildsousa, Firstly, thanks for the extensive review on almost all aspects of our breakfast experience. We are super proud of our range and offering at our breakfast buffet. Breakfast is of course the most important meal of the day, so we only want to offer the best! It is great to hear we could leave you with such positive memories of your visit and perhaps next time we can tempt you back to either our brunch on a Sunday or our Bazaar dinner marketplace so you can feast on all that Bazaar has to offer. Again, thanks for your kind words, it means a lot to all the team who put in so much hard work daily to make Bazaar the restaurant that it is. Looking forward to welcoming you back again soon for another indulgent experience. Thanks and kind regards, Justin Venue Manager - Bazaar

The immaculate service begins as you arrive, one of the team shoe you through the buffet and recommend you talk to the chefs if you have requests in addition to what you can see. They will even make you an aged steak to order. When we were looking at the pasta, the chef asked if he could help at all, I jokingly asked for a creamy mushroom pasta and without hesitation, he said “coming right up” The prawns were the highest quality of any i have seen and the oysters were clearly shucked that day. Usually a seafood buffet means average prawns and a poor selections other dishes. The quality of all the dishes had us back a couple of days later so we could experience some of the dishes we couldn’t fit in the first visit. To Finnish off, the selection of desserts & cheeses were amazing!! I saw a review recently from someone who clearly has a personal grudge with someone at the restaurant or is a competitor or something like that. Any visit to this restaurant will result in being rewarded with the best!

Good afternoon Dazaraptor, Thanks for your kind and comprehensive review of your recent experience. You have highlighted quite a range of our marketplace and glad to see it hit the highs points you were after. We are proud to offer the little extras such a steak to order and custom dishes as you mentioned you took advantage of during your visit, and we like to think it is what creates that extra special experience for our guests. To top it off you visited twice in one week!! We love to hear this and so glad we could welcome you back to fully indulge in the entire offering and tempt you with so much you just had to return. Thanks again for you great review and I hope we see you back at Bazaar in the very near future. Kind regards, Justin Venue Manager - Bazaar

We visited Bazaar for dinner and breakfast. The service from attentive waiter staff now includes serving plate portions to maintain health requirements. The servings we received during both visits were excellent. A current PGR card assisted in reducing the overall cost of our dinner and we would happily return again.

This was our second visit to Bazaar and our expectations were high. The staff was excellent and very helpful as the dishes were behind COVID screens which they explained each dish and served up meals. The dishes themselves was excellent couldn’t complain about the quality and freshness. My only frustration was either the variety of food or I instantly realised that for the money the experience didn’t out weigh the cost in my opinion. Adults are $75 a head and they don’t miss for kids my 9 and 7 year olds cost me $29 each. Understand that maybe quality has a price and maybe it’s not a place for kids due to limited kids usual eats. My wife and I walked out feeling disappointed as we didn’t believe that was worth the money. Thanks to all staff though for being at the top of their game it’s definitely a highlight. Cheers

We have dined at this restaurant on numerous occasions pre covid for family gatherings and celebrations and it was always superb. However never again will we eat at Bazaar. 29th December 2020 was our last visit. The service was average, we never received our drinks order , that's ok we had water for a 50th birthday celebration. Healthier and cheaper option! The restaurant was perhaps 25% occupied. The food was very disappointing although it looked good. Not sure where to start with this..let me group it together as follows, cold food that should be served hot, poor quality food,(bones and tentacles in paella 😌, steamed dumpling with prawn mince inside that was straight out of the freezer cold, cold pizza, slimy char siew pork, cold curry, cold noodles...yum) , reheated food, no signage on the dishes, servers slapping food on plates similar to a food court..now has this wet your appetite to spend $70plus for dinner and water ...the water was free! Happy dining. We didn't eat desert, after an hour of trying numerous disgusting dishes, the fun had worn off.. we went elsewhere because it was so bad! Lucky we had our sense of humour..Goodluck and happy dining ...

Good afternoon Natolie2014, Thanks for taking the time to provide your feedback on your recent visit. It is extremely disappointing to read of your experience, and this is definitely not a typical standard so many of our other guests experience when they visit. I wish we could have provided a much more memorable experience for such a special occasion and I understand we have missed the mark on this occasion and for this I apologise. Whilst already having made contact to your booking via phone the day after your visit to discuss further your experience and gain greater clarity on the issues for rectification, I do acknowledge your comments not to return. However I can assure you your comments have already been shared with our Executive Chef, Bazaar Sous Chef and my management team for immediate remedy to avoid this kind of disappointment again. Again thank you for taking the time to post your review and I wish you and your family a happy and safe new year. Kind regards, Justin Venue Manager - Bazaar Marketplace.

Normally I wouldn’t write a bad review on an average meal, but Bazaar was terrible. The majority of the staff were so disinterested, that we actually felt like we were a nuisance. We asked the guy who showed us to our seat, that we would like to order a drink. He assured us that a waitress would be with us. After 15 minutes of waiting and trying to get someone’s attention, we basically had to yell out to get someone to attend to us. We then made way to the seafood section to be served by a chef. Staff members walked straight past us as if we were invisible. When we finally did get served, it was apparent the staff member hated their job and basically threw food on the plate. Sitting down to the prawns that were not fresh was very disappointing, not to mention the extremely small oysters, although they were fresh. So we tried the Asian section. Food was barely warm and please taste your dumplings before embarrassing your establishment again. So we thought we try the steak. Staff member was very obliging. While we waited for our steak to be bought to our table, we took a plate with a pizza that was just topped with cheese and a potato,a chicken wing that was dry, a piece of fish that I’ve tasted better from a frozen packet. Hoping our steak was going to be the highlight, it tasted like someone had used half a jar of seasoning on the steak. I could just not eat it. Desert bar was average. Your drinks tasted great but you guys didn’t make them thank Christ. I did explain my disappointment when I left. The staff member at the checkout did give us a discount on our drinks, which is not the reason I complained. He also informed me that I was the only one to complain that night. I think others wanted too but are not as upfront as me. Basically I’ve eaten better pub grub at half the price and twice the service. I know it seems we ate a lot of food , but we just left it on our plate to be binned where it belonged I understand with covid that it can be challenging in running a restaurant to everyone’s expectation, but if you guys don’t get your act together, when we get to some sort of normality , you will be left behind and most certainly your staff needs to be retrained in customer service

From the miscellaneous animals hanging in the window at the entry this is a sign to say, Vegetarians NOT Welcome Here. Big carvery section permeates the smell throughout. Thought I would find something in the Indian section to be told only the fishy-tasting rice was vegan. Couldn't get a teaspoon of it down. People talking, reaching and bustling over open bowls of food! Loud cafeteria noises due to people and kids constantly scraping chairs to get their own food and drinks. Self serve ice cream section very "pizza hut"! Waste of money.

Good afternoon Sonia B, I am sorry to hear we were unable to meet your expectations for your recent experience. We do so often have guests dine with us who have particular dining preferences such as vegan or vegetarian, and leave us feeling satisfied and happy with the options they were provided, in particular from our Asian station where most recently we have featured including vegan Laksa and and vegetarian style buttered chicken using an Indian cheese called Paneer. Whilst it appears we have not been able to provide you with a memorable experience for our interactive Bazaar marketplace, I would like to thank you for taking the time to post your feedback which we can use to review our offering continually, to make sure we can leave all guests with only the best memories of Bazaar. Thank you and kind regards, Justin Bazaar Venue Manager.

This buffet restaurant has to be visited to appreciate the food and the service that Bazaar offers. A friendly greeting on our arrival was quickly followed by a guided tour to see exactly what the Bazaar has to offer and to whet the appetite. Then we were quickly shown to our table and introduced to our server who took our drinks order. Then it was time to visit the buffet and eat. With more food and more choices than anyone could want, there really is something for everyone. The food was delicious and the service discretely attentive at all times. I suggest you try the suckling pig. We will return! Make sure you’re hungry!

This was a second time. The first time , a few years ago, was sensational. What has happenned? Frozen prawns, poor lighting, run down toilets. The staff were as good as could be expected in the circumstances. you could see the disapointment in the staff who were fully aware of the compromised quality. The first time I came here it was exciting, Full of pride, It is now disapointing. My 11 year old made the comment that he thought Sizzler was better and I must agree, No attention to detail. Why have you let this place get so run down? Why has the lighting been ignored? The desserts look and taste like a frozen factory product, This is now a poor cafeteria. Perhaps it was not profitable, and I can understand that, but please, do not hold youself out to be what you once were, I spent 400 bucks and I feel totally ripped of. Your manager and head chef should be ashamed. They probably are as they had no presence last night. Who owns this place? I bet you that their toilets at home are in better condition. Your lack of respect for your business and your customers is appalling. I am a chef, hotelier, and teacher. I will use this as an example of what not to do. Do not waste your money or your time. This place is totally disrespecful of your valuable time. Mark Savic 0418 956910.

Good afternoon Mark, Firstly thank you for taking the time to provide your honest review of your recent experience. You have highlighted multiple areas of concern for your visit and I can assure you your feedback has been taken on board for rectification and immediate follow up. Whilst we have left you disappointed for your most recent visit and I can understand you are frustrated with your experience, it is disappointing that none of these concerns were elevated to myself whilst I was on shift in Bazaar on the evening you dined. In follow up with the team member who looked after your table on the evening, they have provided feedback that there was no ill feelings upon your departure. Whilst I understand you may choose not to return to Bazaar based on recent experience, we will be using your feedback to help us ensure we are moving forward and providing only the best guest experiences. Thanks again for your honest feedback and kind regards, Justin Venue Manager - Bazaar

We took a chance on booking at Bazzar for a birthday celebration as we took the recommendation from a friend of a friend….. we were so disappointed on so many levels for these reasons 1. First impressions of entering this place was it looked tired and shabby 2. Omelette station only had one person cooking omelettes and always had a long wait in the line. The omelettes were dry, unappetising and no flavour 3. Bread Station was always out of bread of our choice and only one toaster for 100 people dining 4. Sausages were over cooked and dry as was the hash browns and scrambled eggs that tasted like airline powdered eggs. 5. Pastries, waffles and pancakes were all hard and dry 6. Coffee was terrible with no decent coffee machine, no hot chocolate 7. Our plates were mostly left full with uneaten food as the general quality of this food was inedible To top this bad e Perone worry off we made our concerns known to the young female at the front house where acted so passive aggressive, defensive and unsympathetic and thought that all five of us was exaggerating telling us that they were the best buffet in the entire Gold Coast!? This staff member was really not interested in our honest feedback albeit it was all negative and made no sincere apology for the worst dining experience ever! We urge all not to take a chance on this restaurant unless you enjoy bad food and service! My recommendation for the best buffet in the Gold Coast is Harvest at the Star Hotel & Casino, Broadbeach

Bazaar was well worth the price. The Moroccan lamb and the chicken thigh were delicious . Steaks to order were cooked perfectly with paired well with their in-house steak salt. Chef Anh and Rainier were friendly and so helpful in explaining the dishes. 10/10 definitely coming back.

I eat all over the coast and most times i get a good restaurant. But this time well over priced meal when you are paying close to $180 for two you would think it would be half good chewy lamb second rate seafood and please do not get me started on the so called largest desert board on the coast that was what i was told yeh thats if you think 4 version of custard is a choice. Cheece board very average i am sure they stopped off at Woolies before serving it. So my very poor had the potential but was let down

My partner and I go out to dinner at least twice a week and we have never experienced such an amazing waiter. His customer service was perfect, so happy and so patient. It was my birthday (we didn’t organise cake or anything) and Brandon went out of his way to bring me a plate written “Happy Birthday” in chocolate, desserts, a candle and starting singing the Happy Birthday song. You have no idea how happy it made me feel! He needs to be recognised, because it doesn’t matter how affordable a place is and how well the food tastes, it’s GOOD CUSTOMER skills that will keep customers coming back. And because of Brandon, I will definitely be coming back and recommend QT BAZAAR to others. Furthermore, food was fantastic especially the desserts! The atmosphere is calming and relaxing.

On holidays I visited with my children for breakfast at Critique (JW Marriott) and Bazaar (QT). Bazaar was everyone's favourite: * Bazaar had a wider range of juices, a wider range of food, food/drink was nicer. * Bazaar served fancier bread, JW was toasting Tip-Top brand bread! * There were fewer staff at Bazaar, but they were friendlier. * Bazaar was 2/3 the price of Crtique * That said, the setting at Critique is nicer, waterfalls out some windows, double-height ceilings. and cool sunken dining area. * Only negative, was that kids would have preferred the waffles and pancakes to be warm.

A lot of food was cold and low quality. The selection of food was very limited and in some cases not fully described as to the meat in it. It was shocking value and selection for the price and was probably only a 30/35 dollar buffet at best. After complaining after the first visit to buffet upon leaving we were told they would speak to chefs and that was only response. They did take price of two beers off a 400 dollar bill but we only went in expecting a quality meal which we didn’t get. Will not go again
