A great cafe but crazy busy

This was a delightful cafe nestled in a breezy arcade that was extremely popular on the two days we visited. The food was delicious (try the Shakshuka poached eggs) and the coffee was great. Unfortunately the staff could barely keep up with the level of...business in this busy Easter period. On the Sunday morning around 9am we had a great experience, but the following day (Monday) at a similar time we didn’t receive two of our meals and after politely asking staff twice to chase it up they never appeared. We were eventually offered a refund which we took. It was such a shame because it’s a great cafe and we fully understand the bind cafe proprietors find themselves in in remote tourist towns in a pandemic in regards to staffing. So yes we’d go back, but maybe a lot earlier in the morning.More

Celiac friendly fantastic cafe!

We went to this cafe everyday whilst on holiday with my 10y.o celiac daughter. The staff were so accommodating and friendly and my daughter really loved the options she had. She was not “gluten” and it was such a positive experience for us all. Great...cake and slice options as well. Fantastic vibe and location!More

Amazing food and service

We came here on a whim not knowing if they were busy or not as the last time we visited they were booked out. When we arrived we were immediately attended to and was seated on a recently vacated table that was cleared for us....They apologised immediately for their lack of staff. Despite this we were still able to order straightaway and our drinks and food arrived within 10 minutes. For what we paid for, we were given a treat as the food tasted divine! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone who visits Alice springs and will definitely be back for more.More

Great decor. Arrive early if you want a good seat and to order while the kitchen is open and presumably not overwhelmed.

Cake was nice (pumpkin and ginger), if a bit dry. Coffee was very good. Staff seemed nice but it was the end of their day so I had little interaction. Although the cafe closes at 2pm, and there were still plenty of people there, the...kitchen closes at 1:30, so it might be helpful to note this in the listing. I was able to buy coffee or a smoothie, plus cake/muffin/slice or some pretty stale-looking rolls from the cabinet. Oh well - I’ll come earlier next time. It is obviously popular. The decor, at least, is fantastic! A+ for effort and result there.More

Outstanding

It is obvious why this cafe is rated number one in Alice Springs. It is a big friendly quaint place. You feel very welcomed and comfortable. The food was great - both the range and the quality. The service is excellent. We came here for...breakfast twice in two days. Highly recommended.More

Little hidden gem

Great local cafe. Plenty of seating thanks to the walkway between shops being utilised. Food was really good and portions generous - Shakahuka, Eggs Benedict and French toast all a hit with my family. Cold pressed juices were cool, crisp and fresh.

Tasty breakfast and fulfilling coffee

Great cafe where the atmosphere and menu has personality plus. It was busy when we visited, but worth the brief wait.
