It’s a big call, but this would have to be the best Indian food we have ever tasted. Each dish was generous and beautifully prepared. Staff were friendly, efficient and attentive. An exceptional dining experience.

Exceptional food and staff. Genuine spicy Indian dishes with pronounced flavours reflecting the complexity of the sauces. The meats (Goat, lamb&beef) were all tender and succulent. Staff were helpful and attentive; food well presented and served in a timely manner. The inflexible BYO policy was not...to our liking; the wine choice was extremely limited. The Food and service as close to fine dining for this style of restaurant one could ask for. Prices realistic.More
Both the dishes are amazing. But dalak palak is outstanding and in dessert gulab jamun are very tasty. Service and staff are very nice.
From the warm welcome by the attentive staff that obviously take so much pride in their offering, it then carry’s onto the fantastic taste of each and every dish. The experience at Spice Affair ticks all 5 stars.
Excellent food. The restaurant was busy and we hadn’t booked. They made room for us anyway. The freshest garlic cheese naan bread we have ever tasted. The service and food was outstanding. We will definitely be back
Spice Affair was recommended to us by two different friends. We were curious so tried it out for a Friday night take-away. The order was made in the timeframe I was given, when I arrived to pick it up the staff were welcoming and very...friendly. The dine in section was full, so this was a good sign. Now to the food - it exceeded my expectation and was delicious. We ordered one dish to be ‘hot’, which it was just the right amount. We very much enjoyed the meal, and will definitely be going back. Will be adding this place to our regular Friday night take out options. Well done to the team, it was such a delight to find some fabulous service and food out here in Canberra’s north.More
Delicious food and friendly service. We had the non veg mixed entree which was very nice. The waiter picked our mains as there were so many great dishes to pick from. We had Kadai Chicken & Bombay Beef. Both were medium spiced and were absolutely...delicious. The naan bread was fantastic too. I think that this is the best Indian we have ever tasted. Book early as it is very popular.More
Great Indian food in a small local restaurant in Casey Marketplace. Service was friendly and very knowledgeable and accommodating for coeliacs. The barra kebab was tender and smoky. The matar paneer was soft, mild and almost sweet. The madras chicken was really good - chicken...so tender it shredded under the smallest pressure in a spicy sauce. Very popular for take always. The restaurant was packed and was noisy with all the people and chatter. You come here for good food and service, not romantic ambience.More
My trip to Melbourne was surprisingly elevated through my transit in Canberra and eventually dining at Spice Affair was the best experience which became the highlight of our trip. OMG,the food, the service, the passion, the attention to detail and the incredible owners who take pride in their...product was something that is a rarity nowadays.Well done guys This will now become part our iteanrry every time we pass through Canberra Highly recommended.More
It's been a fantastic place in the north side. However, I've noticed quality degradation in a couple of occasions. Suggest the folks not compromise quality for the long term success.
