Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very beautiful setting, peaceful and serene. Walked out to the beach and mangroves in low tide-so many interesting marine creatures to discover. We were with a large group of 10 so couldn’t fit in the restaurant. Was easily accommodated in the beer garden. Food was...pricey but lovely. Kids all swam the pool surrounding the restaurant. Pearl farm discovery tour only took an hour and was very well worth the time. Have done different pearl tours before and still learnt a heap on this one.More

Dined here today. Food was cold and overcooked. School children can cook a better breakfast. Bacon burnt to a crisp yet came out cold. Eggs tasted like powdered eggs.More

We were taken by boat to the pearling operations in Cygnet bay and then through the islands to Sunday island group with the exciting tidal waves and whirlpools. Best to put on the spray jacket rather than holding it ! After the first tour we...had a superb lunch and then did the educational tour of the land based part of the pearling operation. Fascinating !More

This place was very booked out but they fitted us in. The food was ok but would not come back as as the overall experience was not that great. why? Ordering of meals and drinks appear very disorganised. Some staff are at their limit and...trying and some just appeared not to know what to do. Food sitting on table from kitchen and staff did not know who it was for. Have to line up in food line to get drinks. The ordering line splits the dining area as people have to push through the line after they collect food of drinks. Just not a great dining experience, more like a cafeteria.More

The food was fantastic especially if you take into account the remoteness. I had the kangaroo two nights in; a row it was just exquisite.

One of the best steaks I have ever had. If you are staying at Cygnet Bay it is definitely worth booking in for dinner. Place was packed and clearly understaffed but staff shortages are a sign of the time. Nevertheless, they were polite and did...the best they could under the conditions. Overpriced but worth it for a once off dinner with incredible views of the full moon.More

Excellent dinners. The menu is understandably limited but all dishes were tasty with some unusual local twists. Porterhouse steak, kangaroo in wattle juice and crispy barramundi with mango, avocado and greens salad. All delicious and perfectly cooked. They also have a good bar. But they...serve red wine chilled! The coffee is as good as in Italy or Melbourne.More

The restaurant was not what I expected. We cancelled our dinner reservation due to the awful cocktails we had at happy hour which we could not even drink. We were firstly told we could not sit at a table at 5pm even though it was...not reserved until 7pm. When my husband protested they allowed us but he was told not to move the cutlery! The waiter then slopped our cocktails over the table, didn't apologise or return to wipe it up. We didn't dare touch the serviette we were told not to move even though it got wet. We had to go and ask for a serviette to clean it up. After two good tours we thought we would give breakfast a go but that was a disappointment at the measly size for a supposed big breakfast.More

We stayed 2 nights at Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm and breakfast was included in our room rate. Had the big breakfast each morning with coffee. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection with the yolk flowing. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were totally different menus. All...were pretty limited but there were good choices. For lunch, we had the fish & chips and calamari & chips. The calamari was particularly tender and scrumptious. Dinner was another level. Bookings are needed for dinner. Never had pearl meat we tried the pearl meat ceviche. Not much taste to the pearl meat and it was more the texture but it went very well with the mango salsa. The steaks were all cooked medium rare as requested and the scotch was particularly good. The kangaroo striploin was cooked to perfection the first night but on the 2nd night I had to return mine but was promptly replaced with a medium rare one. The barramundi was melt in the mouth and tasted so good too. Staff were very friendly particularly the ones at dinner time. They came to check up on you or had a small chat when clearing the table. The views from the restaurant during the day is beautiful. There is the view out to the ocean or the pool view.More

Unfortunately not one of their vegetarian options is vegetarian - both options contain seafood being fish sauce or shrimp paste. Not ideal for someone who has a fish allergy. When enquiring about ingredients the staff were rude / very curt, responding that I could eat...hot chips or have nothing. Some simple customer service skills would go a long way. The fish eaters enjoyed their meals. The scenery is beautiful and the remainder of our time on the farm was lovely. Be aware if you have a sever allergy - it’s a long way back to a hospital. And, the chips - they were ok.More

Lovely food and a spectacular view. Prices very chap considering they are 2.5hours from Broome. Actually cheaper for drinks than in town. Meals lovely and good size. Recommend the salt and pepper squid and the fish and chips with barramundi.
