Place is awesome for kids and the POD cabins are just amazing. The place has great food and the staff are the bomb. I would so recommend this place especially for familes as the animals are cool and the playground for kids is better (has a cool bouncy castle)

My Dad and I stopped here on the way to the Wairarapa recently. It's stuck out in the middle of nowhere however the coffee and food was the best I've had for a very long time! Very professional and friendly staff and prices were very reasonable too. Well done! I'll be calling in again for sure when next in New... More

Firstly had a great meal with coffee and then we played with our kid on the bouncy castle. We then noticed that the cafe had a new accomodation wing out the back with some cool looking huts. We asked a girl at the counter if we could have a look at this area and she said not a problem. We... More

Friends had suggested this as a lunch stop while driving to Wellington so we passed by other interesting places in Taihape. Hadnt realised this was a tour bus stop but we were lucky to arrive as one bus was loading up and two more arrived as we left. Found food to be quite average but were intriqued by the other... More

Stopped here to break up the drive from Taupo to Wellington and glad we did. Beautiful grounds with a great view. Everything there is pretty much brand new or in good nick! The animals were a good touch to the place as well. Would stay again.

Visited for an extended family brunch. Service very friendly and very chatty with children which was lovely. Play area for children in restaurant. Moved tables as we were in draft. After brunch looked for animals as we had purchased food. Animals not around by maze. Finally were directed to car park to see alpaca and goats. Wasn't suitable to be... More
