Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

like other Beer Spot locations, they have the tap 40, 40 taps of different beers with a large selection to choose from. There is a strip of parking just as you go into the place. There aren't many spots but if you're lucky you can find a park nearby. The place is fairly large with indoor and outdoor seating. The food truck is located in the outdoor area. It was a nice place to gather with friends with the large selection of beverages. The website will let you know which truck is at which location so you can plan before you go.

Another great visit at the Morningside venue. Choose from an arresting range of craft beers or a glass of decent Aotearoa New Zealand wine. The food truck serving Italian pasta dishes today, or pop into the Indian next door. Perfect after a couple of beers. 🇬🇧🇳🇿

Great place to try a range of NZ beers. Flights are available as well as ciders and wines on tap. It’s a casual setting with a food truck. Especially appreciate the friendly bartenders that gave us recommendations for finding bottles and brews elsewhere in NZ (we were heading to Wellington).

Great place for a good Craft Beer… Casual atmosphere with friendly, informative staff…. The family who own the White Lady, have a smaller one here for burgers, fries, toasties etc… Handy bottle shop next door to, to buy more supplies when leaving….. Plenty of parking…..

Visited the Morningside venue. Fabulous. 43 craft beers on tap up to 10.5 %. Busy and atmospheric on a Friday evening. Food truck providing great burgers to "wash down" said beers. Get a paddle. 🇬🇧🇳🇿

Loved this spot! We weren’t thrilled as we turned in, it’s not in a very exciting location, but the quality beers, superb staff and great food truck were absolutely awesome! Our dog was welcomed and we were able to try the beers before buying. I will definitely be back!

My partner and I went out for the first time in a few months for a drink. The Beer Spot had everything we wanted and more! We loved the cheeky staff and friendly dogs.

My husband and I spent our precious time together on my last day in Auckland. We found this place quite by accident when we were looking for lunch. The choice of beers here is awesome and the price is very reasonable. The environment...relaxing in a garage setting with good old rock and roll music accompanied by cool beers. This is life. Highly recommended.

Got taken here whilst visiting friends and left thinking why the heck don't we have them at home?! Awesome feel to the place, casual but smart. Great decor with modern un-pretentious feel. Staff were superb, friendly, funny and happy to discuss the VAST array of beers! The choice is phenomenal! You could lock yourself in this place for a weekend and still fail to try every beer! Go, check it out , you wont be disappointed!

after football feed & drinks - due to have a meeting with a buyer in the 'ville; he was coming from Taupo. So decided to FINALLY try The Beer Spot in Kumue. So glad we did; lovely beers and such an assortment it was hard to choose. They have a different FoodTruck parked-by yesterday it was an American Hotdog outlet run by a very nice Asian fella; we had a good chat and the hotdog was excellent-probably the best I've had. Will definitely attend again and will "go in search" of the Northcote outlet; as I would have driven past it that day!!

We popped in on our son’s birthday for a few drinks with chicken waffles and chicken sandwiches (Peaches food truck was on duty). As first time visitors we expected lots of beer choices (40 plus on tap) as well as wine, juice and soda but totally enjoyed the layout, variety of age group of customers (couples with toddlers/young children, retired couples) - felt like a extended family gathering. Fantastic evening out - felt like being out but also like being at home. We will certainly be back - May even pop into Huapai branch which is closer to us. Great concept - well managed and welcoming.

Whoa there was a-lot of beer, 42 to be exact, and from memory there was half of them on tap. Tried a few. Good place to enjoy different craft drops. And a different food truck each week

Friends took us to this craft beer bar to the north of central Auckland. We were greeted by the sight of a long row of beer taps and a large beer board listing 40 beers and ciders by category. The bar also supplied a printed beer menu making it even easier to choose. We opted for tasting flights of small glasses in order that we could sample more of the beers. The bar is fairly basic decor-wise with tables, stools, sofas and comfy chairs. It has a friendly atmosphere and food was available from a trailer parked outside. The staff were knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. We can thoroughly recommend making the effort to find this beer oasis - it's one of the best.

This place has rotating food trucks and when we visited the White Lady truck was there. We took the whole family to this place and had a wonderful early dinner of bacon cheeseburgers with grilled pineapple along with the greatest NZ craft beer selection I have seen in one place. There is outdoor seating and its a great place to relax when the weather is nice.

As the name suggests, the beer is the big draw card! Amazing, and regularly changing, range of craft beers on tap. Nice set up with tables inside and out. Very casual and (at least during the day) an inviting family atmosphere. Food trucks on a regularly rotating cycle provide the food. Great to see a local institution thriving.
