We went for the Sunday "long lunch" which you must book for as it gets booked out. We were treated to a wonderful 4 hour degustation lunch, which became 5.5 hours by choice, as we were having such a lovely time. The setting is amazing,...More

One of the best Restaurants I have been to. Delicious food in perfect timing. We felt at home being looked after by James and Sophie.

Agree with previous reviewers, thank you Antonio for making us feel Welcome NOT! Way too interested in walking past our group of 6 celebrating a birthday to embarrassingly ingratiate himself with 3 diners carrying a video camera who may or may not have been there...More

The long lunch at Poderi Crisci is really heaven on Waiheke Island. An amazing degustation experience, with multiple courses and a beautiful balance of tastes and flavours. The volume of food was just right and we were invited by the staff to go for a...More

There are many excellent wine and dine experiences on Waiheke Island, all of which are fabulous (Tantalus, Cable Bay, Casita Miro, The Shed to name a few) but there is nothing that quite matches the food and wine experience that this out-of-the-way winery provides. Just...More

A beautiful setting with the vineyard, citrus grove and immaculate gardens backing an indoor/outdoor flowing restaurant. No charge for wine tasting as we stayed for a meal which was also served by the extremely knowledgeable sommelier - though it was an expensive luncheon and the...More

A chance recommendation at a cafe coffee led to us noting the name and location of this 'destination 'restaurant and vineyard. So as lunchtime approached and we were in the locale we decided to take the right hand turn and drive the 2km down a...More

Description
WelcomePoderi Crisci Vineyard and Winery, set in a stunning amphitheatre surrounded by vines and olive trees, has fast become the quintessence of what in Italy is called: Agroturismo. Located 30 minutes from Matiatia in Awaawaroa Bay, Poderi Crisci occupies 7.7 hectares of north-facing slopes in the heart of Waiheke’s unique wine growing microclimate. The narrow rocky strip underlying Poderi Crisci is believed to be 30 million years older than the rest of the Island, boasting soil criss-crossed with mineralised veins. For four generations the Crisci family has been immersed in food and wine, Antonio born and raised in Napoli came to NZ in early 1990 and established Toto Restaurant in Nelson Street . With his partner Vivienne Farnell they opened Non Solo Pizza, an institution in Parnell in 1997 and Bar Vino in 2009.
