What an amazing tapas style lunch. The children enjoyed their crumbed chicken with salad and roast potatoes. All of our food was outstanding. The refreshing cold tomato soup, the homemade bread, the perfectly cooked prawns and the lush slow cooked lamb ribs left us very...full and happy. We enjoyed glasses of rose and albarino made from grapes grown on the premises. Highly recommendedMore

I visited Casita Miro for the first time last weekend with my friends, and fell in love with this place. It's an absolutely beautiful restaurant, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. The restaurant offers an extensive wine list, with both local and international wine choices,...as well as wine tasting option for those who want to try Miro Vineyard wines. Our waitress was very nice and the owner is just so lovely! Food was also very delicious, we had Patatas, Goat Cheese Croquettes, Curious Croppers Heirloom Tomato Salad, Ceviche, Gambas al Ajillo and Paella to share. All the food was delicious, my personal favorite would be the tomato salad, which is so refreshing, and the mix of tomato, peach and creamy burrata is just amazing. If you visit, make sure to ask for a seat next to the window, as the view of the vineyards is just breathtaking! Highly recommended and I will definitely visit again!More

It's seldom that you have a perfect dining experience. But yesterday's lunch at Casita Miro was such a one. Our table was beautifully situated to overlook the vines and out to the ocean. The garden around the winery is lovely and very fun with Gaudiesque...mosaic everywhere and with roses, hollyhocks and olives tumbling down the paths and slopes. The food was sublime and the wine was delicious. We had a couple of the sharing dishes and a big green salad with some tapas plates. The wine was the Miro Rose out of Merlot grapes and we finished up with glasses of Madame Rouge, a sort of port slash dessert wine made in house. Divine! There is a little shop where you can do tastings, buy wine and olive oil and a small selection of beautifully curated gift and homewares. Casita Miro is a bit out of the way but Waiheke Island Taxis will bring you from the ferry for about $50 one way.More

I have never had a single dish or experience that failed to wow me. Absolute class from start to finish. My very hard to plase mother in law especially loves the goat's cheese croquettes

One of our favourite places on the island, a special dinner for my daughter's birthday. Wonderful food, and such attentive service. Even a rowdy birthday group who were pretty inconsiderate of others didn't dampen our evening. The only issue with Casita is the acoustic ..it...really gets super noisy. I wonder if there are ceiling baffles that could be mounted in some way to help with the amplification of noise, as so much of the rest of the ambience is divine. It is the one thing that's not quite right, while so much else is absolutely top drawer.More

Our booking was for dinner. On arrival we were given a warm welcome by friendly staff. This set the scene fir a most enjoyable evening, I have not experienced such attention to detail including asking us to let them know if we wanted the windows...closed if we got cold. They were attentive without being obvious. OutstandingMore

They had a la carte mains but tapas style allows you to experience and share - it was 2 months since I visited but I still rate the croquettes

I think it is great for both - yes, you get the vineyard and garden views during the day time but the restaurant and gardens are beautifully lit and if you arrive early evening you will get the best of both worlds.
