Hands down, next best thing to actually being in Spain. You might even forget that you are in New Zealand if you truly indulge in the wine and tapas. That's all i can say is to 'enjoy' no matter where you think you are.

The food and customer service at Casita Miro are outstanding. Lovely spanish tapas with a Gaudi style garden to transport you to Spain while you enjoy a sun drenched afternoon above the vineyard. A must visit for Waiheke.

I think it is great for both - yes, you get the vineyard and garden views during the day time but the restaurant and gardens are beautifully lit and if you arrive early evening you will get the best of both worlds.
