We visited here for a meal while staying at the Onetangi appartments. Very close which was convenient. Nice family atmosphere, and the staff were very helpful accomodating us.

I visit at least twice a week ... for coffee ... wine ... brunch ... dinner ... always with friends who, in the main, are locals. Weather permitting, sit on the deck and view the best beach on Waiheke Island.
Mostly sit in the open (weather permitting) in among the dog owners with everyone on their best behavior. Adjacent to the best / biggest beach on the island. My favourite is the Thai salad. There are various 'hamburger' styled meals with pulled lamb, chicken, etc....More

The restaurant had a great feel to it, but the food itself was more costly than it should have been. No lunch specials other than soup with some bread.
