Booked this through trip advisor and the two waitresses couldn’t have been more helpful. They also applied the discount without any issues, would I go back, yes. Why have I only gave it 4/5, the soup could have been better. We had the mixed platter and the steaks were cooked very well, the chips were different in a very good way.
Would definitely go back and we’ll worth a visit.

Went the other day in a party of 9 and it was excellent.The staff were very friendly and the food was good and on time cannot complain about anything.
We booked online and you get 30 pc off the total bill what a great idea thoroughly recommend a visit.
Will go again for sure.

Don’t let the appearance of this place fool you, ate here 2 nights whilst stopping at the crown plaza, the chaps running this place are polite and courteous.
The food we had was very well cook and there chips/fries are a treat, special curved potatoes. We had the chicken succulent and tasty. Rib eye steaks and fillet both very nice,
Simple menu but excellent food.
Well done lads see you again when next over

The food was brilliant and the service was amazing as well. Very good food for the price I had a fillet steak which was fresh and better than some of the other restaurants charging double the price. Prices very reasonable for the quality of everything. Will definitely be going back here again.

Very good small restaurant. We had a great service, very friendly and ready to help, careful with all our needs. Food was delicious (i had the salmon and my husband a steak and we also ordered the veggie soup), really tasty, their garlic butter is amazing. Prices are very good!

Just got back from an amazing meal at this restaurant! My husband is very good at cooking a good steak at home so he is very hard to please in this department! We were totally blown away by the quality and value of the meals…We all decided to have different steaks and they were all perfectly cooked, well seasoned and well presented with tasty hand cut potato fries and a well dressed salad. The apple pie dessert was also great value and delicious. The waiter was conscientious and polite and made sure our meal was to our liking. We had a great time. I’ve already booked to go again. I can totally recommend this place having been to a couple of more established places in the vicinity that we found to be a bit disappointing. Looking forward to our next visit!

Visited 3 times not only because the food is excellent and very reasonably priced but also the friendliness of the young man who took the order and served the food . This restaurant is away from the marina in a quieter area and therefore we felt much safer with regard to the virus. Steaks and the salmon dish were delicious and the apple pie amazing. Give it a try you will be glad you did

I don’t meal but there was a choice for vegetarians and fish eaters. I had a delicious pasta dish with very fresh Vegetables and mushrooms with a dressing of Parmesan. Clean and fresh. Piping hot. Lovely customer service. Priced very reasonable .
I would go again for sure.

We ate at Assado after reading some reviews. I can honestly say we were not disappointed. We ordered 1 rump, 1 sirloin and 1 filet mignon all medium rare. When the meals arrived the steaks were perfectly cooked and delicious, with the filet mignon being the star of the show. On the side is a lovely dressed salad and thin crisp like chips which were fabulous. The prices were very reasonable for such good good quality steaks. The restaurant was unfortunately very quiet which is a shame but then it was early evening. it's worth seeking out.

This restaurant is a little gem in Vilamoura.
We were as re in early April 2022 and have already had two visits!
Every dish we tried was great. The Carbonara had the taste and flavour of the bacon infused right through the pasta. It was bursting with flavour.
We visited twice in four days because we loved the food.
I had this most amazing, light and crispy pizza with ham, cheese, tomato and pineapple. It was a huge pizza which I devoured and was priced so reasonably.
We combined two starters, Capresa salad of tomoto and Mozzarella with the house breads, which came with fresh black olives and superb garlic spread. These two starters made an amazing combo and again we're so reasonably priced.
The curled chips are fabulous. I really enjoyed the perfectly cooked burger, covered with bacon and cheese.
The food here is top class and the prices are so reasonable for high quality food.
The lads who run it could not be more helpful and they were a pleasure to deal with.

Went last night for a meal with my husband. We had a bottle of house red, mixed grill for two thar came with chips and salad. All cooked perfectly, delicious and fresh. We had an apple pie and ice cream to share. Bill came to €60 for both us. Staff friendly and restaurant spotless. We will be back.

This wonderful, small restaurant is great for a casual night out. The service is amazingly friendly and accomodating.
Last night we came in with 3 couples and tonight we walked in with 10 people. We all left in awe after having another most enjoyable meal of our 7th day of our golf trip.
The menu isn't huge. It is simple and delicious, ranging from wonderful thin crust pizzas to incredible angus steaks (their specialty), pork ribs and lamb and more. All of which we returned to enjoy again the 2nd evening.
We have had many meals at different restaurants while at Dom Pedro Vilamoura Golf Experience Hotel (which is only steps away, across the street) that are far more expensive and my wife and I would pick Assado every time.

You could easily pass this place and not notice it. It’s small and unpretentious. We called in last night and I had a fillet mignon and my husband a ribeye which came with salad and unusually shaped potato fries. There were two weights to choose from for all the steaks.
Both our steaks were delicious as were the fries and salad which came with a dressing. We were asked what complimentary drink we would like at the end of the meal and my husband had a very good sized Jamisons and I had a Baileys and both were genuine drinks not cheap copies.
The staff were really pleasant and eager to please. We intend to go back on our last night we were both so impressed.

Ok so first and foremost, the steak dinner is superb, the crisp chips are unique and even the salad was tasteful. Admittedly, the garlic mushroom starter was a tad bland, and the decor within the venue could be better (I’m not sure I would walk in on passing…) however very thankful that I checked the reviews here first, as I would most certainly come back for the main alone. Service was excellent :-)! It’s a must to visit this restaurant!

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We shared the mixed grill and each type of meat was cooked to perfection; the steak a perfect medium rare as ordered and the chicken was moist and tender. There was plenty of food for sharing! The location is very convenient from all the big hotels and the Vilamoura Marina. Definitely worth walking outside of the hotel and away from the boats in the marina - really, it’s just around the corner,
