Visited here back in September but forgot to write a review. Easiest 5 star rating I have ever given. Food and service were both exceptional.
Just a couple minutes walk from the Marina this restaurant was a lovely find thanks to Trip Advisor.
As a family of 4 we all got a variety of dishes so wont go through everything invidually but 2 of us were vegetarian and 2 meat eaters and everyone loved their dishes.
They had stored the glasses in the fridge so your ice cold beer was even cooler. The service from start to finish was polite and helpful.
Cant recommend this place anymore.

A week into our holiday in vilamoura and we looking for something a little different for dinner. We are so glad we spotted haweli. The Restaurant is itself very beautiful and well decorated....
What a fabulous selection of Indian delights and everyone of our group of 14 enjoyed every mouthful of our delicious meal.
The service was lovely..polite and attentive throughout despite the Restaurant being very busy.
The food was just wonderful. A selection of starters to share followed by haweli special biryani,,lamb bhuna and massive tandoori prawns. The range of dishes on offer was impressive and everything came
Out of the kitchen tasting so fresh and delicious.
Thank you for a wonderful meal in delightful and relaxed surroundings.
We would highly recommend a visit to haweli for anyone staying around the vilamoura area...

We recently visited the Algarve and stayed in Vilamoura and this restaurant was very close to our hotel.
We had dinner at Haweli one evening, the meal was extremely delicious and the service was excellent, we were not disappointed. We were treated to free popadums and a free bottle of water which was an extremely nice gesture. Would highly recommend.

Visited this restaurant with 4 others on Monday 10th February 2020. On entering the restaurant we found it was cold and the staff including the manager were walking around with coats and hoodies on. When the waiter approached to take our order he was more presentable in a shirt and was very pleasant. We ordered our food it arrived and looked very well presented, tasted really good and we all enjoyed. However the good experience stopped there. We asked for the bill to be presented with it by the manager still in a hoodie and on handing it to us said we have not charged you for chutney tray oh and we have also not added the service charge. The bill was handwritten and on checking it something did not appear to be correct, on checking the items against the menu we found that we had been OVERCHARGED by a total of 16 euros on three main meals. We called for the manager and asked what was going on to be told let me look into it, he came back with the correct bill and advised us that the new employee had done it incorrectly, when we knew that he had written it out, so not only did he try and get away with overcharging us he also tried to blame his staff. Do not visit this place there are plenty of other Indian restaurants but if you feel you want to then double check your bill.

The food and staff at the haweli Indian are second to none.we love eating there
..The food is delicious and the staff are always attentive and kind.
Excellent for take away as well.
I couldn't recommend this place more
highly- we are massive fans!
Must try house special sizzler and house special daal makhni and you will love it...

Came at my husbands request after researching the best Indian in Vilamoura. We were not disappointed. My husband had a staff recommended chilli chicken and I had butter chicken made to order with extra spice. We both had our own naan. Very very tasty food and reasonably priced. Service was impeccable. Shame we are not in town longer as we would love to come again, maybe next year!

We are a local couple that love Indian food and that we've looked and searched for a long time quality Indian food. Have to admit that we've finally found the perfect place with a homely feeling, with excellent service of which the waiters are very friendly, always attentive to costumer and if we're comfortable. The food is the best, sauces are very good, excellent presentation, really feels like we're in India.
We'd verry much recommend.

We went to Haweli this week as a group of 5 (2 couples and a baby) having seen the reviews on trip advisor. It was such an amazing meal that I’m actually doing my first ever review. The service was UNREAL, like they just appeared and changed the beer glasses half way through the glass for a colder one! The Prosecco was so very very drinkable. Everyone loved their curry dish, I ordered lamb hasina which was so flavoursome and tender. The peshwari naan bread I shall think about forever haha it was the best ever. Also it was such good value and a really pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely come back next time. Thank you Haweli!! X

We have visited pretty much all of the curry houses in Vilamoura during past trips & this was by far the best food & most enjoyable experience. We wanted a big tasty meal & it’s exactly what we got, the staff were lovely and really well informed on the whole menu answering our various questions without issue. We had poppadoms to start which were tasty and well accompanied, we then had a varied curry side dish sauces (pathia, garlic chilli, plain curry) all went really well with our Chicken Tikka mains, rice was well cooked & large and the naans were the best we have had!
Definitely recommend, you won’t be disaapointed

My husband and I have dined at Haweli twice in the past twelve days. On both occasions the food was wonderful. On our last visit I had the prawn puri to start followed by Chicken Rogan Josh while my husband had Chicken Tikka for starters and Rogan Josh for his main course. All of the food was full of flavour and absolutely delicious. The service was very attentive and Bal ,our waiter ,checked several times to make sure that we enjoyed our meal. We intend to visit this restaurant several times during the rest of stay in Vilamoura.

Very friendly staff, good level of attentive service - of the kind you often get in 5 star hotels, along with deliciously cooked food, far better than most English takeaways, and of a high standard for a restaurant too. Topped off with a nice shot of port. Thank you!

Enjoyed a meal for four yesterday evening at Haweli. The staff were very friendly & attentive & the food was superb. We were impressed that we could have normal, medium or hot on all meals we ordered. Will defiantly go back again before the end of our holiday.

From the outside you wouldn’t give Haweli a chance, however inside this tardis of a restaurant brings service and flavours up there with the best. My wife and I only had two curries, naan and beers but all were top notch - beer cold (loved the frozen glasses), curry spot on and great popadoms and dips to start… all for E38. Service was exceptional and stood out compared to other Vilamoura eateries.

Had seen reviews on trip advisor so decided to walk in without booking with fingers crossed we could get a table. Honestly a great meal, we had some poppadoms with relish and the spicy onions were lovely.
Recommend the mix starter for two and we both had the chilly curry, mine chicken and wife had the lamb which was so soft and tender it was melt in the mouth.
The nan bread was so light and delicious and the waiter explained how the chef cooked it so well.
We had a bottle of chilled wine and then I had a bottle of cobra in an iced glass which the waiter replaced half way through to ensure a chilled beer complimented the food.
Have already decided to come back for our last meal of the holiday, definitely recommended.

Just come back from eating here. We weren’t going to try an Indian while here as you always compare to home but I am so glad we did.
Fantastic food
Portions sizes unbelievably generous
Fresh cold glasses throughout the meal
Price was so cheap in-fact we couldn’t believe how cheap it was for what we had.
Such a shame I couldn’t finish it all
Service was brilliant even noticed the little things like if we ran out of mango chutney it was immediately replaced
We will definitely be visiting again.
I would tell anyone to try this place and recommend trying something different than you would normally
