We had the most delicious desserts here on a snowy day. We only stopped by for coffee but the display of all sorts of cakes was simply irresistible. We even ended up buying a box of chocolates to take home with us - they were nicely packed and we're still enjoying them upon our return home. If you find yourself in Briancon old town, don't miss this place.

This establishment which appears to be an Italian pastry shop is also a restaurant serving Italian specialties. We had the dish of the day (pasta with Mediterranean vegetables) and a homemade dessert. Everything was excellent. The room is small but the service is impeccable and fast, the staff are charming. The prices are very reasonable given its location (on the main street of the old town) I recommend this establishment.

Always perfect! We have been spending our summer holidays in the Serre Chevalier valley for 5 years and every year we stop at least twice at the Turin pastry shop for a snack break and lunch! It's always of very good quality: pasta, pastries and coffee specialties including bicerin from Turin... Everything is homemade and with the taste of Italy... artisanal ice creams with pistachio from Sicily, hazelnuts from Piedmont... truly a taste that you can't find anywhere else. Even more: the children's menu has very good value for money: homemade pasta or gnocchi + artisanal ice cream. This makes the difference with the same identical menu in all the restaurants: nuggets and fries or minced steak and fries... Bravo to the Turin pastry team! Thank you for giving us moments of quality memories in Briançon!

A gourmet stopover that I recommend if you go to the Vauban city in Briancon! A warm welcome and with a smile. A family pastry handed down by the Founding Father to his son serving pastries of incredible finesse. Don't hesitate to book a meal at lunch

Attractive on paper, we did not have the expected experience while having lunch in this tea room. The pasta was pretty good. The disappointment comes from the deserts, tiramisu in particular, which arrived frozen. So tasteless even though they had the potential to delight us. It would have been good to have been informed by the waitresses of the need to wait while the pastries softened. But the service was cold. When paying, I was actually given the information that I would have to wait because the cakes are coming out of the freezer. This did not seem to bother our interlocutor. Damage...

Just a stone's throw from my house and always worth a recommendation to our guests who stay in our local self-catered apartments. Lovely speciality cakes and biscuits. Fabulous hot chocolate and coffee.

Visited here at 2pm on a Saturday only to be told the cooked meals finish at 1.45pm, and when I say cooked food we are talking toasted sandwiches. Therefore the only option we had was pizza or quiche, four of us had pizza and one the quiche. The quiche was mostly air and very dry, the pizza lacked flavour and had minimal toppings. We also had water to drink and it all came to 28 euros which I feel was greatly over priced. Would not recommend nor will I be going again.

Excellent confectioner with plenty of scrumptious options (cakes, sweets, bonbons). Don't miss bicerin, typical drink from Turin, made with coffee, chocolate and cream.

We were in Briancon on a late Wednesday afternoon, and all the restaurants were closing around us. We were so hungry and got turned away at several locations, and then we found this place which we had avoided because we had left Turin to come to Briancon. It was great. The pastry was awesome, the pizza and foccacia were great. It ended up being a great afternoon. Now my mom tells everyone "France is closed on Wednesday!"

Patisserie Turin can be described as a French Boutique Cafe; it has no tables, just chairs and a counter. It sells Italian ice cream for inside and the passers-by on the steep commercial street that leads down from the historic city gate to the grandiose French Alps vista at its bottom. The Cafe's ESPRESSO at €1.20 surely represents a most delicious Italian delight; it's so authentic. The pastry is delicious and Franco-Italian. After all, the border to Italy is not far... The TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence on the wall behind the buffet is more than justified!

I love good coffee and cake - and thats exactly what Patisserie Turin provide. As a confirmed chocoholic I loved the chocolate ganache - intense flavour on a shortcrust base. Perfect mid morning little something

We were recommended to go here for a coffee and it was very nice. We also bought a croissant and 2 thin almond biscuits. The baguette that we bought later was crusty and chewy, just how we like it. The nice room out the back looked lovely, but we sat in the front of the shop, to watch all the activity! Very pleased that we went!

A small Italian patisserie in Briancon, which serves the best Italian coffee and has a selection of pastries, cookies and cakes which delightfully blend Italian, French and even Austrian traditions. A great stop for anyone who loves desserts and good coffee.
