Great food, great wine, great atmosphere :)

Wife and I visited whilst on holiday last week. It's in a nice spot in the centre of Briançon. The food was exceptional, especially the chipirones calamari, foie gras, wagu steak, and the 15-9 burger. They have a broad selection of wine too. We had a delicious red Côtes du Rhône to accompany the meal; it didn't last long. Unfortunately we were too full to entertain the dessert menu. The friendly staff, modern interior, and music made us feel warm and welcome, particularly given the blizzard conditions outside. Would highly recommend for all those visiting this beautiful mountain town. We'll be going back to try out other items on the menu in future!

The dinner was very tasty I really did not expect a place like this in Briancon. The person who created this restaurant has been traveling a lot for sure, in order to bring tastes from elsewhere I have tried all over the world but not in France, few years ago and less expected in a small town where there aren’t much tourists. The burgers were so delicious and the truffle fries as well! Hummus, a dish I’m making the most at home, that one was delicious, just a little advice, less spicy otherwise we loose the real taste, at the end we could not finish it because it was way too spicy, believe me I have been in Mexico for moths, the county of the spiced food, and that one I couldn’t finish it as it was so so spicy and I love spicy but there was a little too much. Unfortunately our stomachs didn’t make it to the desserts level :), even if I’m a sweet treats lover :)))) And your shelves cook books behind us were very nice and I even plan to buy them ahaha !

Very good food with very good wine!

We have not eaten as well in ages as yesterday evening at 15/9! We had entrecote 300 grams and enough for 2 people together with burrata really super tasteful! The wine was very good. Dessert with great ice cream for my wife and our daughter. Creme brulle was very good. Often difficult to get just the right structure due to just the right ratio of egg yolk and cream. Very rewarding! Thanks for the beautiful evening!

Pleasant eating experience though slightly underwhelmed by the food

The contemporary and modern interior of Le quinze-neuf was quite a surprise after eating at more rustic establishments in Briancon. On the night we ate it was busy and the open kitchen added an extra element to the eating experience. Menus don't come in English, but it is spoken by those who serve who always tried their best to be helpful. The restaurant appeared to specialise in steaks so that became our choice. All of our steaks were cooked a little less than we'd hoped and my pepper sauce came without any 'kick' which was disappointing. The fries were fine, but lost in the translation were the sweet potato ones my brother received. Eating at Le quinze-neuf is certainly a pleasant experience - I just came away feeling a little underwhelmed by the food.

About the no translate menu is a wish as our full team is speaking fluently english and we prefer to créate a contact with our customers instead to easily give a translate menu. Sweet potatoes fries is "frites de patate douce". French fries is "frites maison". For the steak... We try to respect all the cooking, but when is cooked "a little bit less" is very easy to ask to cook it" a little bit more". Hope to see you again in our restaurant and in serre chevalier. Expected a lot given the reviews here but must admit my lunch was pretty disappointing. This is a trendy place, that is indeed a bit different from most Biançon restaurants but remains similar to so many places (tapas, burgers etc...). Was there for lunch and the place was basically desert. Welcome minimalist and not very friendly. I ordered what seems to be one of their specialties, gnocchi with some kind of "carbonara-like" sauce. They turned out to be average, unsalted and with a not so pleasant texture. May be this place is more exciting at night? their tapas list indeed looks interesting. Sunny terrace, good coffee, not cheap.

We discovered this restaurant with its warm and contemporary decoration and which offers a wide choice of original and hearty dishes. We had homemade tapas and excellent grilled meats. We ended our evening with a tasting of Charteuse VEP. We will definitely come back as we also enjoyed the service.

Very disappointing. Mediocre food much overpriced.

We came to 15/9 to celebrate the end of our holiday. A good number of our group left half of their steaks on the plate. We don't usually do that. The service staff didn't even ask us about it. Same with the desserts. We had to fill up on accompaniments to not go hungry. For a place that has pretence to be a steak-house, and for the prices they charge, they must do better. I seldom write reviews but felt I had to write something here, we came here to celebrate based on the 5* reviews and were very disappointed.

Excellent evening, the meat quality was excellent, the dishes hearty and the service friendly and very dynamic. Good value for money. Located in the 15/9 district in full transformation, this restaurant probably has a bright future if it maintains this level of service 👍🏾

Overall service is poor. Staff are unfriendly. Monosyllabic, cool and disengaged. Seasoning was off on the meat. Main issue was a crème brûlée dish. It was far too big, had turned to a scrambled eggs consistency and tasted of mouthwash because chartreuse liqueur had been poured over it. It’s not very expensive and the wine is ok. I’ve had better value for €120 (€60 pp) in France.

We had a wonderful time at the 15-9. Greatest meat I've ever had, the service was perfect, Jimmy and Clara are just lovely. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the wine list is simply perfect. Good quality/price value as well. The place to eat in Briançon !
