Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The exterior appearance does not attract, but the beautiful and sober interior room conveys intimacy with a touch of charm.
There are three menus, one called Guisane, with three courses, one Gourmand identical to the first with the addition of a large cheese plateau and one called Surprise, left to the imagination of the chef.
The cuisine is quite elaborate but with flavors that blend very well in the mouth, with courses of meat , fish and shellfish.
Cuisine that satisfies the palate and the eyes, with color choreography that creates surprising color effects on the plate.
Class service and bill overall correct, considering the non-trivial mark-ups of wines.

We returned with pleasure. The room is a bit sad and dark. The welcome and service by the chef's husband are very professional. The dishes are inventive, tasty and very well presented. The menu offers a sufficient choice. Good value for money for this gourmet restaurant.

A high-end meal with fresh produce cooked with rare finesse in terms of taste and superb presentation. Dishes worthy of a Michelin star, all served with great class. To prioritize quality, few tables. The quality to price ratio is excellent. Note the address to return there.

Very good food, much better in sweet than savory dishes, but a lot of work nonetheless.
We would get closer to excellence provided that there is one more server, and yes, Jimmy who is the boss but also the pastry chef, the maître d', the waiter, the cloakroom, the sommelier... barely to come out of his chic and cozy provincial shell, probably for fear of coming close to familiarity with the guests.
In the kitchen, his wife, also alone, juggles all the dishes and appetizers (well there's only one) from all the tables.
In short, a bit long, but on vacation, we accept everything as long as it is good and friendly.

Rude. We booked by phone. We are told that from the center it takes about 20 Min walk and that it is open and Reservation is made.
Arrived we are told that now the kitchen is closed and do not allow us to sit down since we arrived 5 Min late.
They had our phone and it would have been polite to at least warn us.
That's too bad.
Never happened in a real star. Not even at Ikea self-service.

We really enjoyed our fine dining experience at Le Pêché Gourmand. We are regular visitors to the area and have wanted to try this restaurant out for many years. It was certainly worth it! We had a delicious and unusual meal in this calm setting. The wine list is exceptional, but expensive, though don’t let that put you off!

We really enjoyed this dinner, the dishes were delicious and the service was impeccable. Lots of flavors, very beautiful presentations and originality in the desserts, with for my part, a variation around cigars. I loved it and yet I don't smoke. Very nice table.

Behind a austere facade (not to say worse) , this restaurant is a little gem. The room is modern and nicely decorated and the cuisine is sophisticated and tasty. Service is of excellent level as well and the whole experience is reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Well on the second visit - 3rd visit this year and 3 times first tie - still just as good and full of flavors. Thank you Thank you
I am also always very touched by the adaptation you make to my constraints. Not everyone does this.
Many thanks to both of you.

I have been to Le Peche Gourmand twice, once for dinner and once for lunch. Both times I have had a wonderful experience. Experiencing a Michelin Star restaurant is a bucket list item. The pricing is incredible for the quality and service you receive. The restaurant is cosy with warm bright colours and does a limited number of covers so the atmosphere is calm and intimate. The food was artwork and delicious. I had the menu Gourmand both times and they were different set menus. I have not yet tried the Surprise Menu but I will be back to try it another time. The service was perfect for this type of establishment.

We visited ‘Le Peche Gourmand’ as a family of four (grown-up children!) last week as we had heard good things. The service was friendly and perfectly timed. We all went for the Menu Surprise and left everything in the hands of the chef. Course after course was perfectly presented and the food was exquisite. The timing of each course was also perfect. No long delays between courses but equally not a hint that we were being rushed. It was advertised as 7 courses but we had many more than that! Although this was not a cheap dinner, in our opinion it was definitely value for money - and much more so than other similarly rated restaurants we have eaten at. Highly recommended and we will be back.

Our favourite restaurant! The menu for this summer is outstanding - especially the 53 euro one and as usual you get far more than the menu with appetisers and amuse bouche and sweets with the coffee. The lobster was very good - pea puree the perfect accompaniment. The fois gras was hidden inside a pastry bombe with a soft boil egg and mushrooms - very tricky and served with hot sauce. Out fish and meat course very very tasty and the cheese selection was lovely. We finished the meal with fresh summer fruit and a delicate icecream which was just right after so many courses.

Fantastic meal in comfortable dining room. Courses presented beautifully, amazing flavours and the dessert??? I would return again and again just to work my way through the dessert menu.
Prices very reasonable for such high standard food.

After several days of enjoying the local specialities (which consist of some combination of melted cheese, ham or charcuterie, and a starch - raclette, fondue, tartiflette) We were ready for a change. Le Peche Gourmand did the trick. A modern room au sous-sol. Well spaced tables, and attentive but not fawning staff. We had the three-course and 5-course meals repsectively. Local produce is integrated in a modern French menu that was delicious. My spouse has iberian pork, and i had venison for the main course - both excellent. The cheese course is not to be missed -a fantastic selection of local cheese with a few from elsewhere in France to round out the selection. Add a 34 E bottle of viognier and we had a great experience for about E125. Great value for a one star experience!
