Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This restaurant is now called “Amara’s” (I think Aziz has left Grenada?). We really didn’t have a good experience. Overall, the food was disappointing, especially the Baba Ganoush, which was like a bowl of cream cheese with a little bit of aubergine flavouring, not good!...There was no atmosphere and the people serving really weren’t interested in engaging with customers. There are definitely better places to eat.More

This was a great find as this was our 8th time back to Grenada. The owner is a very nice guy, the food was some of the best on the island and we were well taken care of. The atmosphere was wonderful also. I would...highly recommend this stop while in Grenada.More

Fantastic local bar. What a find. Aziz is the most welcoming larger than life character and the locals in the bar made us feel at home. Service was great. Burger absolutely enormous. If you want fine dining this is not the place for you. If,...however, you want an authentic Grenadian experience with great music, great value local food and a warm welcome from Aziz, his team and his customers this place is a must. Will definitely be visiting again.More

What a great find! Very friendly and good atmosphere but the best bit was no doubt the food. We had 3 starters between the 4 of us and they were mountainous plates of delicious chicken wings, fish bites and cheesy fries. My husband had the...Aziz burger which was superb - enormous and tasty and definitely no need for sides! I had the Sloppy Aziz burger was not a burger at all , but a HUGE mound of ground beef with sweet peppers and onion, griddled into the tastiest food you could ever wish for on a huge , soft delicious bun!. I have a good appetite but struggled to eat it all, and I never have burgers when eating out normally but I would have this again any time! JUST FANTASTIC!More

The general vibe is great. The food is fantastic. But the real treat is Aziz himself! So charismatic, interesting, passionate about life. We go here because we love spending time with him and he treats us, and all his patrons, like family. Eat up while...you're there - ALWAYS start with breadfruit chips, hummus, fish bites... anything lamb and the garlic dipping sauce is insane.More

We came across this place as we were walking and searching for a taxi to take us to a restaurant. The menu items looked inviting, so we stayed for a meal. It was a good decision. The hummus is made on site and was very...good. We both chose locally caught fish, snapper and mahi-mahi. The snapper was the better choice. Both dishes were served with a small side salad. We both added grilled mixed veggies which were very good. The service was friendly and relaxed. You’ll enjoy this place more if you’re not in a hurry. Enjoy the local atmosphere. Recommended.More

We had middle eastern food here. Food was very good. My only complaint was that bugs were an issue when we sat outside. We moved inside but people were smoking which is disgusting when you are trying to eat.

So here’s the thing. This place has the biggest burgers you will ever eat in a restaurant and at the most reasonable prices; however, the customer service, physical appearance of the restaurant and other food items on the menu, leaves much to be desired. I...may not be eating here again anytime soon. Sorry!!!!More

I was very sad with our first dinner our in Grenada...the fish was not a tasty product and the service was not attentive and the price was too expensive for the quality of the product. I would pass by this establishment if you are looking...for a gastronomic experience.More

Aziz is a kebab specialist, plus arabic food and bar, not bad food, good service, reasonable value. His rum punch still needs work but the beers cold, and the chicken/lamb hot. A few nice salads.
