The food and the staff are amazing. The gardens so beautiful. Gotta try their cakes! And seafood chowder was one of the best I've had.

We were a group of six who had booked several weeks ago. We waited an hour for our meal with the first three meals arrived ten minutes before the next three meals. The place was busy but having accepted that number of people and their...money there should have been sufficient staff present to ensure that we had a pleasant dining experience. I had the ham roast. The vegetables were fine except for the potatoes which were small jacket potatoes which were grossly overdone and qshriveled up. The ham was OK. The bottled water was room temperature, chilled would have been nice. Nobody had dessert, some had coffee. I was disappointed.More

Ordered the Beef Bourguignon could not detect any bacon, celery or mushrooms. It was presented with a pile of chips on the side and a small amount of mashed potato. which had been grilled on he the top of the stodgy bourguignon. Hardly the classic that...this dish should be. Not a green in sight which is the traditional pairing not chips and dried mashed potato . Very disappointed.More

My family had a lovely lunch here recently and whilst the weather outside was less than welcoming, that wasn't the case for the restaurant. Service and food both very good with lots to choose from. Have a proper sit down meal or something smaller from...the cabinet.More

This place is gorgeous with flowers and decorations Table service was great but it was a long wait for a server to come take our order Coffee and muffins were really nice and the walk around the gardens is a must see. Just suggest the...staff find another place to put the cleaning products. Storing them under the water dispenser detracted from all the prettiness aroundMore

We had breakfast there and I ordered the waffles, which were far too sweet with crystalised sugar lumps throughout. By the time we left, I was starting to feel sick from all the sugar until I was quite nauseous. Would have been good if they...had either made the waffles themselves (and controlled the sugar content) or brought quality pre-made waffle instead. I won't be going back.More
