Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have always had a great lunch here. Not a noisy place but more relaxed for a tea or coffee. Food has been very nice and handy to shops and gardens and beach. If you want the buzz of a city cafe then don't visit Edies but more for the quiet chatty lunch with friends.

Not a place for the young definitely aimed for the older person. Slow service, small portions and dated decor.

Looks dull and boring from the outside and the decor is pretty dull but the food is gorgeous. Had vegetable tart for lunch:Lovely tart with generous portion of feta, caramelized onions, pumpkin, roast peppers . Lemon meringue tart for sweet treat equally delicious. Lots of nice quality food to choose from in the cabinet.

We love going to Raumati to have lunch at Eddies. The toasted ham and cheese sandwiches are the best as are the little lemon meringue tarts. Good coffee and tea.Try and get a seat by the window!
