This cafe in Henderson is pretty new. There are a few street parking spots on Buscomb Ave but it can get busy since there is a Church nearby. They also have a parking lot down the road on Great North Road on the corner of Wadier Place. Keep an eye out for the fairly large sign, and the parking spots are also fairly well sign posted and it isn't too far of a walk.
The available food is present as soon as you enter. Grab a plate or takeaway box and fill it up with the tasty looking goodies. There are a few benches by the window as well as some tables around the back. I was able to grab a tray and grabbed some items to eat there. They also do hot and cold drinks, with the menu behind the counter. You can also grab cutlery and tissues at the counter before heading off.
The beef rendang pie was quite tasty but it was a bit cold. It would have been much nicer if they were able to heat it, particularly if you were waiting in. I also tried the pandoro, which is almost like a block of cake filled with flavoured cream. I grabbed the watermelon one out of interest and it was really nice. The texture of the pandoro was interesting since it was like a firm cake. I grabbed a blueberry croissant for takeaway. I grabbed the one with the meringue and was surprised with the vast amount of blueberry jam inside, almost like a molten cake. Nice flavour and the croissant had a nice crispness to it.
It was quite a nice bakery to stop by for some interesting food. They are one of the few places around that have their own parking, which is convenient. Worth a stop if you're there to try something different.
