A little hesitant upon arrival... given the reviews and the location.... but in reality it was a discovery: very kind and friendly manager, simple menu but excellent, genuine, typical dishes... excellent joke... ..tajarin with heavenly white truffle....delicious bonet....and the icing on the cake...you can move freely around the restaurant and choose the desired priced bottle of wine.
Highly recommended even if outside the usual and obvious tourist circuits!!!!

Not recommended! Worthy of Nightmare Kitchens..bad experience. Local little cared for,.little clean with open kitchen with red curtains of fabric, which would be better not to be seen! The owner Charly is a character, a strange cross breed between Sardinians and Piedmontese. The kitchen reflects his way of living. Fantastic Raw meat , and taiarin forty egs yolk , pannacotta and motto are up to the job . Roddolo wine fantastic

This is the third time that we are eating at Osteria Giro di Vite. The owner Charlie is very hospitable and the food is amazing! Every time we are coming back to Italy we are meeting our friends here and the Chef Ivan is preparing for us top notch traditional dishes, which we would recommend to anyone 😁
The "coda la vaccinara" it is something that you must try, if you are a meat lover... same as il carpaccio, carne tritata e il carpione ( fresh trout with zucchini and onions ).

It was a pity that four guests only were at the Giro di Vite on a Thursday night.
The service was very friendly and the cocking very good!
We enjoyed the slow food of rabbit salat, pasta, tender veal bites and lovely chocolate pudding and traditional fruit tart.
Do not miss this place - it’s really worth the trip - only 10 minuets drive from Barolo

A few days spent in the Barolo area for work and then, after many wine bars and "cool restaurants" we found this gem. A real, authentic, local trattoria - where they serve traditional and amazing food, they have a great selection of wines and, last but not least, the owner is a nice and friendly person. Give it a try, you won't regret it!

Ordered beer veal bites with side of the house .. arrived brought with 5 pure dry bites and 4 and I say 4 pieces of carrots and 4 pieces of zucchini that more than a side dish was a garnish .. total of the plate 16 € in my opinion not justified .. do not serve wine by the glass but you have to buy the bottle .. a skimpy slice of salty quiche euro 10... to avoid ..

The owner is very friendly, lovely place overlooking the Monchiero hills.
Excellent cuisine and excellent service. We couldn't stop ourselves from tasting the starter, first course and second course.
