We walked in on the Wednesday to book for the Friday lunchtime. This place always seems to be busy. When we came back Friday the guy remembered our faces and instantly greeted us by our name and showed us to our table. Very nice touch! We both had the Tartiflette which controversially comes with a puff pastry lid. Husband said it’s the best he has ever had! The guy running the place was so on it and extremely friendly. Would highly recommend this place.

We went as a family (2 adults / 2 children) on a Wednesday evening by reservation, the welcome was very warm, the menu was limited and surprisingly varied: we chose a fondue (succulent) and poached eggs with morels and crayfish (a delight). The draft beer is great and the boss even treated us to his homemade digestive at the end of the meal. A good address where we will happily return.

Warm room. Welcome a little cold at first but more pleasant afterwards. We tested the tartiflette (with its puff pastry)... original; but we fell in love with the veggie vegetables (coconut) and rice 👌🏼. The Norwegian gravlax salad (served at the next table) was also tempting 😋. Cocktails remain expensive (but not much more expensive than elsewhere in the end 🫤). A good experience

Very friendly, responsive staff. Nothing to say on this point.
The restaurant decor is very good, good atmosphere.
On the other hand, we were very disappointed by the dishes and especially the famous puff tartiflette. It’s a shame especially at the price it’s sold for. The potatoes are barely cooked and mixed with bacon. But without flavor and without reblochon. Ok there is a puff pastry on top. It’s original, certainly, but without flavor and above all with a very limited quantity.
Really a shame to keep such a dish on the menu.

And lunch, this is an exceptional place for its welcome, its professionalism and its cuisine, the locals are not mistaken.
It is very rare to find such quality in a ski resort.
The chef is a phenomenon, mastering cooking, sauces and a varied menu.

Friendly and efficient service provided by Yo really made our experience a pleasant one. The fondue bourguignonne was exceptional, as were the other carefully prepared dishes. A memorable dining experience that I highly recommend!”

A good restaurant if you appreciate local specialities in a welcoming very french ambience. Wines a mixed bag and not so easy to find quality at lower alcohol without paying +€50. Overall a great night, oh and great desserts esp Creme Brulee and free home made digestiv. We will be back x4 next year

Back with a vengeance! Great atmosphere friendly service brilliant and good value fondu - doesn’t take itself too seriously but the food speaks for itself. We obviously have not been for a couple of years and they recognise us and welcomed us back. Good for groups or couples

Authenticity, friendly welcome and we have a great time! We had dinner there twice during our week of vacation. We had a great time and enjoyed mountain specialties. Remember to book. The restaurant is pleasant, the service very friendly and efficient. No fuss, it’s like being welcomed by good friends who want to please you.

A wonderful time with friends in this friendly restaurant in Alpe d’Huez!
Lovely staff, special mention to Rodolphe and Yo for their warm welcome. Very tasty meal, very reasonable price for the resort. We will come back with pleasure!

Always can be relied on for great traditional mountain food, nice wine list and cocktails, speedy service and a smile!
We have never had the tartiflette “pie” before but had been with a friend who had so decided to try - soooo tasty creamy potato goodness with some smoked ham covered in a very generous well cooked puff pastry lid - well worth a visit just for this (although the fondue is good too)
