Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This lovely traditional restaurant is well worth seeking out- it is very near to the top station of the Alpe Express Gondola You will need to book as it is always full- which is, in it's self a good sign! We had the hot stone with duck and beef- simple but delicious accompanied by a mound of piping hot frites, a beautifully dressed green salad and 3 sauces. I made room for the café Gourmand dessert (coffee and 3 smallish desserts) We had a nice bottle of wine and the bill was 70 Euros which is very reasonable by mountain standards. Service was efficient and friendly Highly recommended

Our two ten year old children had the beef and loved cooking it on the hot plate themselves. We had the fondue made from 3 cheeses, it was great and our new year’s eve evening was perfect. Ecloses a little way from our hotel. Pic Blanc, but well worth the visit; great food, family friendly, very welcoming. Small and intimate.

Mountain specialties really at the top! What a pleasure to enjoy a Savoyard fondue that is not "elastic" as in other restaurants and a mega raclette with the half grinding wheel in front of us!!!! I highly recommend this address you will not be disappointed!!! Happy Christmas week to all!⛄️⛄️⛄️🎄🎄🎄🎄

Cozy and warm restaurant However, I strongly advise against eating there. For what ? The quality of the food is not worthy of the prices. Raclette is absurdly poor. The wheel of cheese most likely comes from supermarkets, tasteless and full of oil... The charcuterie platter? Same, from Auchan or Super U, no flavor, poor quality… 25 euros / person… at that price you might as well go to the resort’s caterer who has quality products. In addition to the insufficient quantity, the charcuterie supplement is simply absurd... 6.5 euros for... see the photos The positive point will be the setting, that’s all… I give 2 stars for the servers and cooks who remain smiling!

We went to this establishment for the average rating on the site but I had also noticed certain comments which were confirmed; - Small room and table overload for performance no longer allowing the waitresses to circulate, jostled regularly by their passage and by those of the customers who arrive and leave or go to the toilet in the restaurant - The policy is to do two services, which means that all customers arrive at 7 p.m. with a hectic service to boot. For our table we were treated to spilled olive oil from the aperitif without having been cleaned. We saw a tray of drinks spilled onto another table or the waitress tripped over an extension cord. - For meals, what can we say about a raclette service that looks like a toaster given the lack of space on the micro tables, the aperitif glasses and the bottle of water that we had to put on the floor for the same reason as for the charcuterie, I confirm that it was industrial! - There remains the price where my wife had an aperitif without alcohol but billed at the price of an aperitif with alcohol! Conclusion ; Disappointed, too bad the establishment prioritizes business over love of the profession and customer satisfaction ☹️

A disappointment as quick as a black slope. A disappointing culinary journey both in quantity and quality... bread from the day before, certainly bought in a supermarket just like the cold meats obviously. The boss is extremely unpleasant and disrespectful towards the customer... a shame however for the very nice waitress, who did what she could...

First time this season at Tony's, it won't be the last!! Quality meals concocted with quality products, it is always as good!! In the room two friendly young women with little care. Tony is the effective captain of this team, he is in the kitchen and in room!! Happy season to all the team and again thank you for your involvement.

We go there especially when the sun is out to enjoy the very pleasant sunny terrace. Otherwise actually inside it is quite small with a lot of people so less pleasant. Courteous and fast service. Pierrade in sufficient quantity

Went here with my 17 year old son on a ski trip. We were looking forward to a traditional fondue and were not disappointed. Food was fantastic and great service and very friendly.

Avoid this place at all cost! Trully rude services! The personal is not trained properly. We had to wait very long, to be told that we were not welcome

Had a lovely meal here last night! Really nice atmosphere, our waitress was lovely, really welcoming and attentive. Food was great, felt like proper home cooked traditional French food, and was delicious.

I went with my boyfriend and we got the tartiflette. It was delicious and very well priced. The menu is great and offers a nice choice of traditional alpine food. The servers were attentive and friendly. There was also a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant- very cozy! Absolutely recommend if you are visiting alpe d’huez!!

Always a warm and friendly greeting from Jennifer and Tony - and loved the Brasserade!! But this is also a perfect spot to enjoy just a beer and/or a vin rose in the late evening Alpine sun!
