We visited this restaurant on our second night in Alpe d’Huez.
We didn’t book a table but the staff were able to accommodate us at a lovely table near the window. The place had a really cosy feel and the staff were all really friendly and welcoming. The waiters worked very hard all night and the service was very efficient.
We both had the onion soup to start which was delicious. For our main meal, we had the cote de boeuf which was cooked beautifully and served with a wonderful selection of vegetables and chips.
We were too full for dessert but the waiter brought us a complementary shot of genepi each after our meal.
I’m so glad we found this place and I would definitely recommend it, thank you for a wonderful night.

The staff were welcoming and attentive. The food was enjoyed by all five of us who ordered a range of foods including the Pierre chaud which was great quality. Recommend that you book in advance as we tried to visit a second time during our stay however this popular restaurant was fully booked.

Restaurant looked very nice from outside so went in to ask if a table was available, they said they were fully booked but offered us a table by the entrance which was still very nice. We all ordered the Pierrade and we’re pleased we did, it was the best we’ve had. Staff were very friendly and attentive, will definitely eat here again.

Very busy, which is a good thing for the owners, but so tightly packed that the neighbor's pierrade was spitting all over our table (and arms, yes in a tshirt as it was hot). The tartiflette was completely tasteless and the Pave de Boeuf cut in half so it cooked faster resulting just in a lump of wood on a plate with cold unstrained vegetables.
The staff were wonderful with the exception of the lady on the bar dispatching tables, again it was full but we had 2 couples pass in front of us but being on holiday it passed with a smile.
I saw recent replies to reviews which were quite long and tedious, I suggest you spend the time wisely in getting the kitchen together.... (putting a lump of cheese on a grill or cutting meat and letting the customers cook isn't "cuisine").

Big restaurant, so able to take chalet groups, which there were a few on the night we visited. Service good, and staff friendly. What we saw of food going to other tables, the meat courses looked big and tasty. However our cheese fondue probably one of worst we have ever had. The mix was separated in the bowl, told to stir constantly to keep from burning, set like glue rapidly, to the point we only could eat 2/3 of it. Very heavy and disappointing.

We came here for 2 nights out of our 4 night stay, primarily because the service was so fantastic: friendly, knowledgeable and attentive but never invasive.
The food was very tasty - lamb shank with dauphinoise was the best of the meals we had.
Great selection of fondues - sadly didn't get to try as my travel companion doesn't eat cheese but they looked and smelt fantastic.
The chocolate fondant was divine!

We had dinner there with my partner. At first glance the dishes offered on the menu looked appetizing. It's time to order, I ask for a burger without onions, the waiter tells us that it's not possible because they are prepared in advance (I'm starting to worry). My partner asks for a change of toppings, it's possible provided you pay extra... they bring us a carafe of water and... eco cups (a first for us in a "restaurant").
The dishes served, my flank steak has no taste and served with frozen fries, the same for my companion with her half chicken. Bottom line: 50 euros to eat a flank steak and half a chicken from Flunch and drink from an eco cup... In terms of tourist trap restaurants, we found the prize. During our stay we ate much better and at more reasonable prices. Only the sympathy of the waiters saves the bill.

We visited La Pomme De Pin on our sking Trip. We walked from our hotel Le Pic Blanc which was about a 13 min walk, was worth it as it was amazing food, excellent service, menu also in English. Would definitely return on future holidays!

Third year visiting this restaurant on our annual trip. Previous visits had been very enjoyable, great food and very good service. We were all very much looking forward to another lovely last night of the holiday meal.
Unfortunately this experience was not quite as enjoyable.
We were a party of 5 adults and 2 children, the restaurant was busy so our food order took quite a while to come out. I had ordered the steak, which was cold under the Roquefort sauce. I eventually got the attention of waiting staff who took my plate away, and returned it shortly afterwards, they had heated it in the microwave. My medium rare steak was now pretty well done and a bit tough. When I realised , Once again it took a good 5 minutes to get someone’s attention, my plate was again removed. This time returned with a freshly cooked steak but no apology for the wait or poor service. The food and service was sadly not of the good standard we’d experienced in previous years.

A cute and pretty ski resort restaurant. Staff were very good and the service was quick. We had an excellent table. We had the raw meats that you cook on the hot stone which was delicious. The only thing I would say is that we were given raw chicken on a plate to cook with only our forks that we were to eat with. Meaning we were expected to take raw chicken from our plate with our fork, cook it on the hot stone, then return it to the plate the raw meat was on and eat it with the same fork we picked up the raw meat with!?!? I didn’t think this was ok so we shuffled some things around and we created side plates to eat on and used a different fork so it was no problem. The chocolate fondant in the shape of a pine cone, was not melt in the middle as I expected but it was good.

Very good restaurant in the resort. We ate there 2 evenings.
The first evening we were in the pergola (no need to worry, you feel as if you were really in the restaurant in terms of atmosphere and temperature), the second evening we were in the restaurant.
We had a great time twice. The food is good, the products seem to be of quality. We were also offered genepi at the end of the meal on the first evening. The waiters chat happily.
In short, a nice restaurant, good atmosphere and good food. I recommend !

We ate succulent kidneys with sweetbreads and morels, despite the crowds, we didn't wait and what's more, the setting was warm. The bill is very correct in a resort where other restaurants increase prices with altitude! Well done and thank you to the entire restaurant team

Welcoming restaurant. Meals that arrive so quickly that the aperitif is not even over. Dishes giving desire for appearance but not terrible in taste.. Tartiflette arrived cold so left to warm up but not better for all that.
Burger not great either. Limit, child dish better than the rest. Which is why we did not try desserts because disappointed with the rest.

Visited twice during our stay here. Very busy but despite that extreme lay helpful and pleasant staff. Attentive but not overly so.
Great friendly atmosphere. Could not fault the food and the service. One of the very few places to get a meal without meat!!!
