We had a family meal (boys 12 and 9) at the Chalet du Per'Sille and found it be an absolute delight. My wife and son shared a raclette served in the traditional alpine style with hot coals heating the fantastic cheese. It was fantastic. My son and I both had steaks, I had the Chateaubriand special. Both were fantastic - served in the French style so ask for it more cooked than you would in Britain (French medium rare being British rare etc.).
The wines were very reasonable and we enjoyed a Savoie red that was lovely.
The whole meal seemed very reasonably priced and nothing like the usual Alps price gouging you come to expect.
Oh and the deserts were wonderful!
The room is beautiful and the staff professional and helpful.
I will be thinking about this meal for a long time to come and can't wait to return at some point soon.

Great food, really friendly staff and a overall a nice place. Good varied options on the menu, mainly french, we had the smoked cheese raclette which was amazing. I booked via email too and they responded quickly which was helpful so would highly recommend.

Meat lovers at the real BBQ grill, this is where you need to book!!! Excellent, tasty, a little advice, take the meat without sauce for the purists, impeccable service, great discovery, the only downside is the desserts are not original, a sure value but without much interest and not homemade (?) Reservation strongly recommended

We came as a large group during our recent holiday. Three of our group were unfortunately running really late because of confusion with local bus times. The restaurant were polite and understanding and couldn’t have been more helpful. The food was delicious, our waiter was a delight and the whole experience was one of the best meals out I have had in a long time. I suffer from a number of food intolerances due to a chronic illness and they couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful to me. 10/10 for everything. Thank you!

Great food, lovely ambiance and friendly service. Molten cheese and charcuterie washed down with good local beer. Although they fit in two services per evening, it didn't feel at all rushed.

So good we visited twice during our week in Alpe Duez! A fabulous cozy restaurant warmed by the open fire with incredible food and friendly service. The food was delicious can recommend the steak cooked on the coals/mixed meats/burger/Tiramisu all amazing. The raclettes looked awesome melted by hot coals! Has a really nice happy atmosphere and the easiest booking system by WhatsApp! Our favourite place by far all week....Well done team Le Chalet Du Per'Sille!

Great WhatsApp booking system. The restaurant inside is beautiful and we had a table by the big windows so we had great views. Coal fired burrata to start and then the coal melted smoked raclette which came with LOADS of meat and potatoes. It was honestly epic!

Local cheese specialties or meats cooked over charcoal. Two choices perfectly executed by a team as welcoming as they are friendly. A special mention for the homemade profiterole and its cabbage generously filled with hot chocolate…just extraordinary. An excellent place to spend a pleasant time with the family.

Like every year after the skiing efforts we spent a great evening at the Père Sille chalet
Waitress at the top and very pleasant, the dishes excellent as usual
All cooked on the embers, a pan-fried foie gras to perfection and extra-cooked beef, perfectly cooked on the embers, and we didn't finish their succulent profiterole, it didn't change a thing.

Lovely small chalet in Alpes d'Huez offering great fondues at a reasonable price. Wine list had a great variety of wines. Service was lovely. Definitely recommend it.
