This restaurant is set back from the lake which does make it a bit cheaper. The service was quite slow but the food was ok, nothing special. Be aware that in these times, you have to scan a QR code to view the menu. I had no idea what this was so, after a long wait, was given an ordinary menu but this seems to be how things are now.

No Italian cuisine, taste ok, service unfriendly, I felt uncomfortable.

We were there at lunchtime and wanted to give it a chance. We ordered beer and a glass of wine. The glass of wine was really tiny and the bread that came with it was pretty hard (but it was free, which is not to be taken for granted). My friend had spaghetti, which tasted OK but was not cooked al dente and was still pretty hard. I ordered pizza tonno. I got that too, but when I politely asked if the onions had been forgotten, the waiter had to correct me, saying that I hadn't ordered tonnara (that's what it says on the menu) but tonno (it's not on the menu), so it was my own fault. He then took them with him and put a kilo of onions on top and from then on hardly paid any attention to me and was unfriendly. I felt very uncomfortable. I can't recommend it, I found it really unfriendly. Tasted OK but the restaurants 1-2 streets further up away from the water looked better.

it was late in the afternoon and we were there in the town shopping after the last day of our fair so we just happened to sit as we were hungry > he told us that at this time he will serve only pizzas no issue we ordered our pizzas > as it was a sunny afternoon we sat outside and there was only one staff managing the place also there were about three more tables where some guests were having their meal > except for the beer which I ordered it came late and was not cold enough the pizza what we ordered were good overall nothing too great but nothing wrong

Nice and spacious environment reminiscent of a pub. Ordered a tuna and a cod both to forget the cod above all, salty and overcooked (it had cold parts and hot parts). Paid 55 euros for both courses, a bottle of natural water and a glass of white wine. I wouldn't go back...

If you want microwaved deep freeze pizza, this is the place to go to!!!!

This was the worst Calzone ever!!! I ordered a Calzone and got a microwaved deep freeze pizza. This was proven by the fact that there oven burn marks over the whole pizza but only both ends were hot but the middle was cold… also the mozzarella was not melted because it had been frozen and the full structure of the cheese was gone… I should have known because serving a Calzone in 5 minutes can’t be right… Complaining did not help because if you can’t explain it in Italian they do not understand… in short: poor food quality, poor service and a big disappointment!

Horrible service! We asked for a tap water received a bottle of water without explanation that is the charge of the water.Be aware overpriced water €6 per 750ml!!!! You can nice a glass of wine 🍷 for this price! When we’re questioned, waiter respond, we did serve a tap water and that wasn’t me who served you drinks which was a lie!!! I don’t mind to pay if I was told about the price!! We didn’t have a choice we have to pay!! Staff didn’t care about the customers . Just being forced to pay!!!

Normal lunch, nothing special. Negative note are the waiters. One doesn't speak Italian so we struggled to communicate over a dish. Since it was 2pm and people were still arriving, the other waiter sent a voice message on the phone while swearing, perhaps because he wanted to go home?!

We come to this restaurant every year. We eat very well, the boss and the waiters are very nice. The boss buys us a drink every time. The restaurant is well located, quiet and good value Award. I recommend.

I was there last night, and I think I ate the best pizza in all of Riva del Garda. The beer, Forst, does not disappoint, especially if drafted in the correct way, as they draft it. Congratulations, keep going like this, we will return with pleasure.

Cold red wine, even colder main dishes

The food had the temperature the wine should have had. Service was slow and didn't even know their card. The portions were to small and overall I definetly wouldn't recommend going there.

We have eaten here three times and this place never disappoints the interior is charming and the exterior great for people watching. The food is great value and delicious, a fantastic wine list and service with a smile make this a fav with locals and visitors to Riva del Garda

Came here for lunch and it was very nice staff were friendly and service was quick food was hot and there was a large menu of items to choose from with English descriptions under each dish. Well worth a visit.

We dined here our final evening in Riva del Garda. In comparison to all our other restaurant experiences, this was by far the worst. Who charges 3 euros for cutlery? Food was mediocre. When there are so many to choose from, don’t make the mistake of choosing this one.
