The cuisine is good for the hotel position. The staff is reliable and fast, sometimes too fast to take order completely. Good place and is to-be-sure that you have good service and high class food choice.
I notice another reviewer said the beef tartare wasn’t fresh. It certainly was fresh because it is served / created with much fanfare at the table and we thought it was one of the best steak tartare we have had. Overall, both the food and...service was excellent and pretty faultless. My only criticism is the venue. The food was served in a bland and clinical setting. I understand that food is normally served outside in a garden setting but due to the extreme heat they retreated indoors to the comfort of air con. (A shame because the outdoor area is beautiful at night with subtle and atmospheric lighting.)More

we were staying at this hotel with my husband. So, we went there for a dinner, as it was raining and we didn’t want to walk anywhere. After reading a lot of positive reviews, as well, we thought that it’d be a must to visit...this restaurant. However, it is very basic, and nothing special. I wouldn’t recommend you ordering prawns there, not tasty.
Though, the mashed potatoes were fine.More
We had greater expectations for our dinner at Francy, partly because of the many excellent reviews, partly because it is inside a five stars hotel.
With a pretty cold ambience, and average dishes like a tuna steak with onions, overcooked, or a beef tartare, not...as fresh as you would expect, the service was missing some details, like showing you the label of the wine you are drinking.More
We wanted a special restaurant for a family meal for my daughter's birthday (14) and were delighted to find Fancy. A nice outdoor space; a formal setting but relaxed atmosphere. Excellent service. Lovely food. They made my daughter a fabulous mille-feuille with strawberries as a...special birthday dessert. The staff speak good english but make sure you bring your mosquito spray as there are loads of mozzies flying around.More
Ate here on our first night - they made a special effort to accommodate my dietary requirements., Offered gluten free bread and vegetarian appetizer and advised on food choices. My partner eats meat and was also very happy with his choices. Overall excellent dining in...a lovely setting.More
We ate several times here having been blown away during our first visit. We tried several different courses, including the complimentary chefs starter and the bread - not usually worth mentioning but it was varied, tasty and a cut above the generic fare often served...up.
The only non-seafood course was the lamb; succulent, presented well and complimented with light sides, it was great. Otherwise everything was fish based, and potent with it containing a wide variety of flavours, with various types of pasta being cooked brilliantly.
The staff were excellent; both attentive, discreet and happy to offer advice.More
We were very impressed with all aspects, food, drink, ambience, service and presentation. Cannot be faulted really. Not 5 stars only because although the menu was varied, we would have preferred it to be a little bit more extensive. Definately recommend. Accommodated dietary requirements discreetly.
