An address to remember

A small restaurant which doesn't look like much at first glance but which turns out to be an excellent address! We actually went back there the 2nd evening!! We had the beef carpaccio, the porcini mushroom pasta and the special as well as the roast veal. Everything was delicious. The team of servers was very pleasant and even had the delicate attention to say a few words to us in French. All this for a very reasonable price

I had already dined in the past at this restaurant in Monfalcone and I always had a very good time; considering price/quality the dishes were well made and looked good. Small, genuine, welcoming. Small, informal, clean restaurant that is worth a stop for both lunch and dinner. Friendly and helpful staff. There are few tables, so it's best to book. Menu not too extensive (some dishes based on shellfish or fish), but still more than sufficient. Abundant dishes, sometimes originally elaborate. Decent house wine. Honest prices, more than affordable. I highly recommend it to those who are not looking for starred restaurants with exorbitant prices, but a genuine and friendly trattoria with a reasonable bill. Delicious food

This is beautiful treasure of Monfalcone. We loved the pasta, Italian style vegetables and octopus that we ordered. It was simply delicious tastes, so authentic Italian, its hard to find these days. Also service was excellent. They made special gnocchi for our child who loved it. We will surely return.

The Best Lasagna, Service, and Local Atmosphere in Monfalcone, Italy

Why is it you always find the best restaurant on the last day of your trip...well that is what happened tonight. I asked the EuroPalace Hotel in Monfalcone where to eat and without hesitation the Concierge said Lo Spuntino. She said the menu changes with the season, the place is small with a great atmosphere, and the food is amazing. She was 100% correct on all accounts. I has the Arugula salad with fresh Burrata & cherry tomatoes, the Lasagna (a house speciality), and a desert that didn't make the photos. If you like red wine, I highly suggest the house red as it was a perfect match. Like Arnold says...I'll be back...and you should go if you have time.

Authentic Italian bistro

Returned to the restaurant already fifth time as this is simple but very tasty, authentic Italian kitchen and extremely pleasant service. We had salat with burrata for starter and aubergine lasagna after as a la card kitchen was closed afternoon. All was delicious.

We were looking for a lunch spot between Aquilea and Grotta Gigante and just found this via the TripAdvisor reviews. I'm really glad we did! Excellent food in an authentic, local setting, and friendly service (our waitress spoke great English). We both had one of the daily specials and both were very tasty (and generous portions).
