Warm and very professional welcome with a glass of Prosecco as a start. The menu, written by hand on a stand board, was professionally and passionately explained. We shared fairly large mussels plate followed by grilled fish plate x2. 4 glasses of wine, coffee and desserts for an honest 95€ bill. During the lunch we got a call from the restaurant, they found a pair of glasses and they were calling all the people who made a reservation for lunch to find the owner who lost them. Well done! Recommended if you are in the area.

It's been several years since we came to eat here... Logically the management has changed, but: hats off. Friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable staff, very intimate place with attention to detail, fresh fish dishes cooked to perfection (the grilled octopus melted in your mouth), super bubbles, good quality/price ratio. I highly recommend it for a business or family lunch/dinner.

EXCELLENT FISH RESTAURANT

During a trip to the area, we followed the advice of colleagues and had dinner at this restaurant which absolutely did not disappoint expectations. Excellent service, very attentive to the customer and excellent value for money with various dishes of the day based on the catch. I will definitely return on other trips to the area. Highly recommended.

Recommended by local people, we rushed to this restaurant located in the Monfalcone shipbuilding area. Praised as a "Top" restaurant, it is actually an average fish restaurant with home cooking. Lunch with a historian friend on a Friday. I always have great expectations from this place where I have eaten several times and always well. I confirm them. This time I also discovered that there are fish other than the usual sea bass, sea bream... for example we took 2 delicious ravens. There are few courses in this lovely restaurant between the factories, the canal and the gulf. This guarantees quality, the catch of the day, products that do not come from far away. Warm seafood appetizer, salmon and burrata, grilled octopus, fresh vegetables and a homemade tiramisu. The bread is also good, simple, without too many pretensions. A restaurant with an excellent quality of raw materials and almost always "mile 0"... that is local fish and great quality in cooking and serving. Went for a dinner with colleagues: impeccable service and fresh fish. Hearty portions and the owner is fantastic! Always available, menu on blackboard that is explained in an exhaustive and precise way. Great knowledge of the product. I was there on Friday and will be back next Thursday. We came here many time for business dinner, the reason is because not faraway from our Plant. It's a FISH selections place. And i suggest don't choice this place if you do not like fish serving. The restaurant could be a classic Italian Standard with excellent fresh Fish Serving, but as in any good fish-place you have to follow their guidance, as good and fresh fish depend on the availability of the day. Anyway we had been there many time, i can say any fishes we eat in any type of cooking, appetizer, pastas, risottos as well gnocchi, ... were really outstanding. Good list of Italian wine and from the region as well. It's really an option in this area, but consider it could be expensive depending on the fish selections or the wines. Generous sizes of any serving. Enjoy !

We had lunch. The salat was good but the tomato knew better days. We ate fish. It was with no taste at all. The same about the polenta that was served with it. I really didn't understand the good reviews that people gave to this restaurant. The price was very high without any proportion with the quality or taste of the food. A big deception!

I have already submitted a review but wish to add few lines 1) This place is also a hotel 2) Parking Facilities available 3) Garden surroundings are very nice and there are tables for service on sunny day 4) The end of the visit it was very much appreciated the kind and hospitable attitude given One comment to make and it’s not a critic but Extra service hand may be needed if the place is full of guests / diners
