Went to this place as I wanted a seafood restaurant not too far from my hotel, the 1st course was fantastic (Piatto Lupo Di Mare) and cannot recommend it enough. The 2nd dish was a let down as it had a bitter taste and so sent it back after trying it (will not be having that again). The tiramisu was ok as I have had better and was expecting a more authentic taste. Overall, the food was okay and the cashier took 6 euros off my bill when I asked about the food that was sent back!!!

I returned three times for dinner I was not disappointed on either of those times. The portions had a good value for money, the food was delicious - the fritto misto was particularly delicious, I felt sad I had it on my last night and I could not return for more of it. We had dinner at this restaurant after reading reviews. The seafood salad (or platter) was a generous and delicious serve. My husband and I ordered for second course spaghetti with mussels. Both of us found it quite salty, we told the restaurant staff and they happily took the plates to the kitchen and brought back but it was still salty to us. If we come back, we would not order this dish again. Over than that, Elena was fantastic with her customer service.

I spent an evening with a friend in this cozy pub. Fish side dish was delicious and the BaccalĂ as second main dish was tasty (although nothing exceptional compare to others tried at home). Gnocchetti as first dish were good but they lacking some taste. Great dessert (tiramisu). Price is relatively ok, a bit expensive maybe but considering the quality it is probably justified.
Overall we had a good experience.

To be improved in every phase of the service and in the catering!
Together with a friend we entered the restaurant and already the welcome was not at all adequate....in practice we were ignored (with little kindness on the part of the waiters!) for 5/6 minutes despite our presence in front of the counter .
Once seated we asked several times to order and even with a fairly large number of waitresses the wait was a bit long.
Ordered a mix of sea-only cicchetti! another long wait (they probably make them at the moment given the times!!) but the least pleasant thing is the very weak flavor and sometimes tending towards sweet instead of tasting like the sea!!
In practice tasteless and as confirmed by a tasteless Tiramisu with very little dry coffee inside and cream just present in a small quantity.......to be reviewed!!

Egregio, siete venuti a cena in una serata affollatissima; vi abbiamo trovato un tavolo nonostante siate arrivati senza prenotazione e vi abbiamo chiesto solo qualche minuto di pazienza per farvi accomodare. I piatti li prepariamo al momento e, essendo il locale pieno, probabilmente avrete aspettato un po' più del solito. Il personale si è prodigato al massimo per soddisfare tutte le richieste dei numerosi clienti (purtroppo qualcuno non si rende conto che le proprie esigenze e aspettative le hanno contemporaneamente tutti i presenti!) ma in ogni caso ritengo che ognuno abbia il proprio settore; non so quale sia il suo lavoro ma non mi permetterei di spiegarle come svolgerlo. From the reviews it seemed like the food was really good, but I have to say I was slightly disappointed. We order various cicchetti as a starter which were all good, especially the meatballs with wine and the sardines in saor. What we were disappointed with were the first courses, of which the non-vegetable gnocchi were not particularly tasty but unrelated to each other and the seafood scialatielli were truly terrible, made up of totally frozen and sometimes even smelly fish.
Prices are not competitive, slightly exaggerated, so the value for money is not exactly right.

First time. Other times on a walk through Piazza Ferretto we passed by and it has always intrigued us for the remarkable variety of cicchetti and Venetian specialties listed on the boards displayed outside. Typical interior environment of a refined tavern, intimate and little confusion, despite it being Friday night. We had starter and main course, hearty and good. We were visiting the town of Mestre and were looking for a place to have lunch, came upon this restaurant which was a great find!
This is a place for locals which is what we like, were the locals eat is always the best placed to pick in my opinion. They explained to us the specials of the day as well as the regular menu. We of course went for the special of the day. Everthing was excellent!

We chose this tavern for all three of our dinners during our stay in Mestre as the menu is typical, very varied and we were immediately intrigued by it. The prices are absolutely excellent. The first evening I tried the chicken curry with basmati rice, delicious and plentiful. The second pasta and beans was very good and the third the veal stew with polenta!!!! Nothing to say about the cicchetti, we tried the mozzarella in carrozza with ham and salmon, the meatballs and the crostini (cod and cold cuts). My son had a very abundant and tasty plate of typical cured meats, like the mixed fry.

We tasted a variety of cicchetti proposed by the house and others chosen from the menu. To complete the dinner 4 firsts. I went to this place choosing quite randomly. We were immediately struck by the place, a clean and very well set up old sailors' tavern in terms of location. Unfortunately, however, we were not as impressed with the food. The cicchetti are excellent, about which I have nothing to say. The rest is a little disappointing. I found my wife's seafood starter rather bland, my seafood bigoli beautiful to look at, but rather unrelated to the seasoning. Even the desserts were more beautiful than good. We came with perhaps the best expectations because recommended and we had already been there the previous year. Nice place, warm, great welcome, very kind staff. Fast service. For the appetizer the cicchetti with creamed cod did not have much flavor and the “crostino” too often. Loved the tripe with eggplants. I had the dish of the day, black ravioli with ricotta and salmon with scampi and shrimp but the dressing didn't bind and the ravioli were dry. Good wine "Etna" by the glass. Average price.

Nice place. Dinner based on 4 cicchetti each and then two second courses: a good Venetian liver and a so-so cod with polenta. Half prosecco. 63 euros (which then magically passed 69 with the card, but it doesn't matter, it's not that big of a mistake). It's a typical place and the service is good.
