Delicious pasta in the aftertoon.

We needed a place to go for lunch at cca 4 p.m. when most restaurants were closed. The chef was very nice and friendly and recommended pasta with cuttlefish sauce. We ordered that and ravioli with spinach and ricotta and it was delicious! We definitely recommend it. The atmosphere was friendly, nothing too serious, and I think the price was very good compared to other restaurants in Venice/Mestre.

Basics done right! Amazing value!!

We ordered basic pasta dishes, Pomodoro and Carbonara... And they deliciously covered the basics. Well cooked pasta and the sauces and seasoning was on spot. Amazing value for money! Next time I’ll be in Mestre I’ll be back for sure.

AMAZING food and service!!

I was in Mestre with 2 of my friends and we stumbled upon Pasta and Pizza e Non Solo and we LOVED our experience so much that we came back the next 2 nights. The owner Marco was great to us tourists and would always be telling jokes. He would also often come over to check on how we were and how things were tasting. When we came back the next night the patio was full, so we ate inside for a while but when a table opened up, Marco happily offered to move us outside. The food was all very tasty and super affordable, especially for Italy which we found quite pricey at times! I am looking forward to returning to Mestre one day to see Marco and eat more of his delicious Pastas and Pizzas!!

The food was adequate, no complaints there. But our waitress was the worst I had in a long time! She didn’t clarify if I wanted a glass or bottle of wine and just opened/served me a bottle. She apologized profusely and I said she was learning, but she informed me we were BOTH learning. She brought me an ashtray when I was finished smoking. She didn’t inform us ahead of time that the burger takes longer than everything else to cook (my boyfriend had ordered a pizza - they were brought out simultaneously). Had to send my burger back because the chef didn’t properly caramelize the onions, but sent the waitress back out to say that they were (they were raw). She didn’t know how to work the credit card machine, so when my card was declined, she suggested that maybe I hadn’t paid my credit card bill. She wasn’t wearing her Covid mask half the time. The cook also wasn’t wearing his Covid mask most of the time. It’s a busy/loud intersection if you want to sit outside.

Great service even greater food

We have spend most of our time in Venice eating at this place because the food is delicious and the prices are really great. We kept going going back to this place to enjoy the nice food and friendly service. Also I would really recommend the tiramisu because it’s the best we have had so far. Greetings from the Netherlands.

I visited here with my mum when staying in Mestre on our first night. The food was fresh, the service was 5*, and it was the best tiramisu I had whilst in Venice. Very reasonable price, we had a seafood pasta, seafood pizza, bottle of wine, 2 desserts and 2 bottles of water for €48! I can’t wait to go back.

Highly recommend this restaurant - good price and very good food

There is a reason why this little restuarant has a queue. They do make good food. I ordered the pasta with the black ink. It has a little bit of squid. Would have been nice if they added more squid. We were a group of 7. Everyone were satisfied with their food. This little gem is going to expand as they need more seats for more people. I really hope they will maintain their way of cooking. Price was not so bad. I think the pasta costs 13 euro while you can get a pizza for 9 euro. Very close to Venezia Mestre train station.

Great service bad food

Thanks Cornel for the BEST service!! ; Cornel was our waiter and made the night nicer after being dissapointed of the food. The Bolognesa spaghetti 3 points of 10. Without salt and much flavor. The Ravioli look as supermarket one, Suace with not flavour at all, raw and without salt. 2/10 points Unfortunately the host also was rushing without even listening to a doubt of a Dish. We wont be back, but if you go say Hi to cornel; the BEST of the Restaurant!! Cornel 10/10 ! 17/08/21.

Delicious and authentic Pizzas

One of the best Pasta & Pizza place in Venice. We ordered different types of Pizza; Margherita, Quattro Fromaggi, Patataso, Tonno E Cipolla and Alle Verdure. All Pizzas were absolutely delicious and were served piping hot. The ambiance is great, fresh, neat and clean. The staff is extremely friendly, specially with us non-Italian speakers. The menu is available in 5 languages. Great food! Great Service. If you are staying in the area visiting the place is highly recommended.

Delicious food, great service and wonderful staff

We arrived in Mestre late, craving pizza, pasta and wine. Short stroll from the hotel we were staying and our attention was cought by red neon sign "pasta e pizza" Perfect! Looking at the menu, we were just checking out options, when owner came outside to us and recommended us his famous lasagna. No need to say more! We order lasagna and pizza with mozzarella di bufala as it was recommended to us. Plus bottle of white wine. Closure of the dinner was a shot of limoncello offered to us by super friendly staff. Imagine, we were so happy with the food and the service that for the next day dinner we decided to come back to Pasta e Pizza instead of eating in Venice. And we did not regret it.

Delicious family dinner. Wonderful pizza for my son. Amatriciana pasta was great, spicier than expected. And for one on a very restricted low Histamine diet, the chef specially and separately cooked plain pasta, chicken breast and zucchini. So kind.

Good pizza

We went for the classic margherita and tiramisu, the basics, for me. I really liked the pizza, the tiramisu was a bit dry for my taste and the chocolate syrup on top didn't feel like it belonged. The service on the other hand was great, really friendly and helpful waitress.

We had an amazing experience here tonight. All 16 of us loved it, we experienced great customer service and very quick food and drinks. The waiters and chefs were very accommodating and were able to provide for vegans and gluten free customers. Thank you so much all!!!!

Delicious food, classy environment in Mestre Stazione region

I had a dinner with my family in this nice pizzeria. We got pizzas, potatoes and lasagne. We also had spritz for a drink. The food was delicious, well prepared and served relatively fast even though the place was almost full of people. The nice thing is that the place is open until late (we left the place at 11.15 pm) and there were still some tables. We also took a pizza for takeaway to eat the next day. The location is easily approachable due to its proximity with the Mestre bus and Train station. Greatly recommended.

Best lasagne EVER

Hands down THE best lasagne I have tasted. EVER..! It seems it's true what they say, that you never tasted real lasagne until you taste it in Italy. My compliments to the chef and the staff. Amazing food and smiling and friendly staff. Will definitely visit again.
