A beautiful food discovery

The Indian meal served at Namaste Venezia was incredible. Very tasty ! The atmosphere of the restaurant is sober but the warm welcome, the staff and the dishes, transport you directly to India. Definitely to discover if you come to Mestre !

it was really nice and delicious place to eat. i found so much rich traditional delicious food. i went up there friends. It was not only rich in quantity but also min quality. And i am really impressed with the services of the restaurant. good luck

Amazing food

Amazing food, restaurant doesn’t look much from the outside or in the inside but the food was beautiful! Probably one of the best Indians we have had! If your in the area and fancy Indian then give this place a try

Most are pretty lame, small portions.

Most dishes are very mild, meaning also general spicyness not only chilli heat. Portions were small and rice ordered separately. There were no vegetables in the chicken and lamb dishes, just meat and sauce. All in all pretty boring, except the “chicken dry” dish, which has a very rich sauce/casserole.

Good food but too expensive (and cold)

Indian fast food in front of Venezia Mestre rail station. The food was good (a version of tandoori chicken), but prices are out of scale for such a joint (chicken, naan, beer, 18.50 euros). Also, the room was freezing cold.

Serves a purpose.

If, like us, you really fancy a curry in Mestre there's not a lot of choice. Karma Sutra is not a bad restaurant and the food was ok but nothing special compared to others we've had in plenty of other places, and the same goes for the value. It isn't expensive and the service was adequate but I won't be going out of my way to eat here next time I'm in the area.

Great food and service!

Great change of pace for people that are spending a longer vacation in Italy. After two weeks in Italy, we needed a change of pace and this was the place! Really tasty food and very good service. Worth the bus from Venice late night to experience this food! Highly recommend.

Expensive and tasteless food

The service is pathetic, they serve anything in the name of chicken biryani. Also their veg biryani is more like fried rice, very expensive also.

I had the best butter chicken ever it was so god and tender I ate every last bit! The worker was so kind and helpful with the menu! My girlfriend is vegetarian and they had so many options!

Massively disappointing food. Avoid at all costs trust me!

Wherever I travel either with work or holidaying with my wife I always try to eat at an Indian restaurant as it is without doubt my favourite cusine as can be seen by my previuos reviews on Tripadvisor. We are staying just up the road from Namaste and after walking past the place a couple of times and deciding not to go in due to the lack of customers tonight our last night in Mestre we thought we would give it a chance. After looking at the menu through the window we went in and asked if this was the take away menu or the eat in? We were told it was the same so we got a table for two. The menu is quite limited so i opted for the chicken tikka massala and my wife the chicken curry with a side of basmati rice and a naan bread. However when the food arrived the tikka looked like a bowl of gruel and tasted like chicken cooked/re heated in a cheap cook in sauce and whilst my wifes looked plentiful the chicken was on the bone and to watch her gnaw at them to pick some meat off was annoying. The portion of rice we shared wasnt even enough to call a portion and the Kashmari naan was as thin as a crisp with little taste at all. On top of this we were given plates that should be reserved for small starters not main meals which made it even more difficult to eat our food. You will see from my other review of a restaurant next to our hotel for an extra 2 euros you can eat fine dining and leave full instead of eating rubbish here and not having to go to the Spar up the road because youre still hungry.
