Came here for an evening for an evening meal after finding the food on Venice island was over priced and poor, and we were not disappointed.
We were served by a young man, in perfect English, who was very knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive.
Started with a shared tomato based starter which was superb. Then mains of monkfish and pasta dish, finished with biscuits and tiramisu. A couple of beers and coffee to wash it down with, led to a final bill of just under 80 euros.
Excellent restaurant, fully recommend.

Just outside the central pedestrian area, tucked away in a quiet street with a pretty outside dining area.
The cooking is excellent. Delicate, inventive and all except one dish is gluten free. So intolerants and gluten eaters can enjoy outstanding food together. Good wine list. Lovely staff especially out waiter. We ended up going twice, the second time after a very picky chef told us it was the only place he would recommend for fish in Mestre (a bit harsh but this is the best by far).
Be sure to book in season and at weekends.

Special dinner with 15 colleagues with agreed menu; I have known this restaurant for some time and I knew that here I would certainly find excellent cuisine and an excellent variety of wines in an intimate setting.
The scallops in butter and brandy with rosemary crumble and lemon dressing on brioche bread and the cuttlefish stuffed with dogfish and semi-dry cherry tomatoes au gratin with paprika and radicchio are also excellent. The specially prepared white chocolate cake is also excellent; the sequence of wines is perfect from a Friulano del Collio to finish with a magnificent Pinot Grigio Ramato, a price appropriate to the quality of the dishes, the wines and the service.

Sadly poor dining experience. We visited for dinner with a young baby.
The menu was limited however there were many specials. It would’ve been better to have these on a board.
We found it difficult to find something suitable to feed our seven month old baby. I’ve had no issues previously in restaurants.
The high chair provided would’ve suited a toddler more.
Upon trying to pay, the card machine was broken. We were asked to wait however our baby was ready for bed and I found this very poor service to be told to walk 200 meters to a ATM.
Overall the food was ok and the experience poor.

Went there during our trip to Venice. It was recommended by our B&B hostess. Such a great recommendation!
The whole meal was wonderful! For appetizers to desserts, every dish was excellent. We ordered mostly seafood dishes, everything was so fresh and well prepared. The waiters spoke very good English and were very attentive. We were told that they sourced most if not all the ingredients from local. BTW, everyone at the table agreed that we had the best tiramisu ever.
It's an excellent place to enjoy true venetian cuisine. Highly recommended!

I was invited to an exquisite Christmas dinner with my friend Anna. This is to give maximum flavor and combined with traditional Venetian cuisine. It was a few years ago but I hadn't eaten as well as this time. I recommend it for those who want to enjoy fish with traditional Venetian cuisine. The venue is elegant; the kind, friendly staff, very knowledgeable in the dishes they present and available for every request, put customers at ease and make them want to come back very soon!

In the pedestrian area of Mestre, a safe address for refined and substantial cuisine. The tasting menu (€55) allowed us to taste a good ceviche (only the onion dominated a little), an excellent scallop with butter and brandy and a tasty cream puff with creamed cod; followed by a perfect risotto with pumpkin and mushroom reduction and an equally perfect - perhaps the best dish - pasta button filled with cod with burrata foam; to close a slice of baked amberjack on a plate of baked vegetables. Compliments to the chef! The only sore point: the external tables, covered with an unlikely beige imitation leather covering, which look unfit for food and are not up to the standard of the kitchen.

We chose this place for the gluten free options, but our expectations were far exceeded!!! Very kind, attentive and very knowledgeable staff regarding gluten free, this allowed us to enjoy the evening in absolute serenity. The dishes truly deserve a 10/10 in terms of quality, combination of flavors and presentation! The place is really nice and with attention to detail! Everything perfect, a delicious dinner! Thank you for the kind welcome you gave us and for the special attention towards our two little girls! Too bad we were only there on holiday... we would have become regular customers!

Some friends you gladly meet for dinner to have time to chat pleasantly over some good, tasty dishes and a glass of good wine. You eat divinely, fish and more, cooked with refined spices and vegetables and prepared as if at home "you never have the time or the imagination and/or ability to do it". But it is delicious to eat delicacies that also put you in a good mood. And you are sure that you will never eat these delicious dishes again if you don't return to the shadow of the seagull!

Very good food, fantastic customer service (maybe too much). Important raw material but without having taken anything to drink except water and initial prosecco (which they say is offered) for starter, first course and dessert, €58 per person seems excessive to me. Maybe I'm setting it up wrong. I repeat, very, very good. The portions are those of a classic gourmet restaurant.

Excellent food,as a journey in world of tastes. Excellent service, all the times we're experienced wonderful plates arrangement, fresh ingredients and especially choosen different and well combined tastes. The risotto was fantastic,as well as open ravioli. Very good advice for the wines. Thank you for such a special time! We will come back for sure!

Good morning, my current husband and I decided to celebrate our wedding (18 May 2024) in this beautiful venue which allows us to remain intimate, there is a beautiful energy, Silvia and her husband were really very helpful and attentive, including clearly all the staff, even those who worked behind the scenes, were really good! We will definitely return with new friends, also to taste what we couldn't get that day!!!! The food is truly excellent, congratulations, Gigliola and Sebastiano

I had lunch with my daughter a few days ago in this delightful restaurant. Intimate atmosphere, tastefully furnished, friendly and discreet staff. Refined and really good dishes. I will definitely go back.

My husband and I came here based on TA reviews. Wow! What a wonderful experience. We didn’t have reservations, we just showed up when the restaurant opened. Luckily, we were able to get a table, but by the time we left, the place was packed!
The menu is written in Italian and English. We were greeted warmly by a woman who I believe is the owner. Her English was impeccable and she graciously explained the menu. We decided on the seafood tasting menu. It was fantastic. It was all delicious and fresh. So good! There was also a vegetarian tasting menu. Of course, there is an a la carte menu as well.
We had the homemade sorbets for dessert. This place is a hidden gem!
