When we were here for a beer before dinner, it was packed! Apparently it is the place to have an apertivo...normal prices for a very good selection of tasty beers. They have locally brewed beers and well a many others in bottle. The seating inside...More

Hello and thank you for your review! Glad you enjoyed our pub and our beers! I'd like to point out, however, that on internet reviews systems like TA or Google, 4 stars are a low vote and so, if you'd like to support us and...More

Great little bar, young friendly staff who spoke English but put up with my Italian. Go for their own beer. The Strong American style IPA is really excellent as good as Dogfish Head 90 Minute and coming from me that is high praise. No one...More

"Birra Frara" is a restaurant-brewery in the centre of Ferrara. Our specialty are our own craft beers FRARA (that means "Ferrara" in our dialect), served on tap along with other craft beers from Europe, both on tap and in bottle. The restaurant is warm and cozy, made of bricks, wood and iron like the typical architecture of the Renaissance in Ferrara. We've got place for smokers and satellite tv. We've got a cold cellar for the beers, both in keg and in bottle, for the correct conservation in every season. This way we can keep a nice selection of strong aged beers, along with sour spontaneous fermentation beers from Belgium. Our food makes the perfect match for the beers: we use only the finest raw materials and everything is prepared by our cooks, often using our beers in the recipes. For a smooth, nice ending, let us guide you in the choice of a single cask whisky or rum... We hope to see you soon and offer you a nice place to chill out, during a pleasant walk in the streets of our beautiful ancient city
