Relaxed Sunday lunch by the beach

We arrived without a reservation & although it was busy were warmly welcomed, assigned an English speaking waiter & quickly served. Special mention for our secondi which was a whole sea bass cooked in the oven with vegetables & expertly served off the bone at our table. The tiramisu was pretty good too. Nice location alongside the beach, 15 minutes walk from the town, a little on the pricey side, but very enjoyable.

Super Restaurant

We arrived shortly after opening at 19.00hrs. It was very quiet but soon was busy, so it is a popular restaurant. Very impressed with the variety of dishes on the menu. We had a range of dishes from caorede salad, steak with mushroom sauce to aubergine parmigiana. All were superb. Lovely staff.

Best seafood and deserts

Dined at Restaurant da Piero and was thoroughly impressed. The seafood was fresh and delectable, while the desserts were a sweet delight. Our waiter, Emanuel, provided exceptional service, making our experience truly memorable. Highly recommend for a quality dining experience!

Highlight of the trip

Perfect!!! Staff is simply amazing. My first time here in the island and it was suggested to me the restaurant and I have to say it was fantastic. Everybody was so kind and made you feel at easy besides the food that is outstanding. Emanuele was our waiter and was super kind and chatted to my friend from Milano and found out they were from the same place. I would go there everyday if I could afford it.

Impromptu dinner

We were checking in TripAdvisor for a good location for dinner & Da Peiro pop up 1st in the list. We decide to just go w/o any reservations & were very lucky to get a table coz it's not easy to get a table for dinner in Italy. I would say, it was a great decision to come here. Price is not cheap but for the quality & taste...its worth. All the staff are very attentive....attending to everyone needs. Waiting time is very short. Professional attitude for everyone, even the head chef came out to mingle with the diners & give introductions to the food. Overall, good place, good food, best location & ambience. Highly recommended

Great Food and Ambience

Loved the food here. The tomato juice was freshly squeezed and seasoned. The best ever. Ravioli was very fresh and handmade. Filling of ricotta and spinach. Other friends enjoyed their meals. I would recommend eating here. Good place to people watch. Waiter was friendly.

Very good position and food

The restaurant is on the beach and the view is amazing . In a calm day it’s like paradise sitting outside . The service and the food are very good . Just the prices were maybe 20% more than it’s value . Congratulations to Davide for his professionalism.

Great food in a very romantic outset

Been there last week with my wife for a special occasion and despite a tedious discussion on our reserved table with the restaurant sommelier (...not sure why he was interfering with the waiters? !... thankfully the matre got involved and resolved it brilliantly) we had a wonderful dinner and lovely time together. The outstanding quality of the food and beautiful location well deserves the pricy bill! Suggest to visit it and book well in advance specifying you want one of the best tables (...those facing the beach).

Good food and a great sea view

We had dinner here twice, both of the times the food was really great. It is pricey but the quality of the fish and seafood is great. And the position with the sea view is amazing! It wasn't so easy to get a table because they were booked out almost 4 days in advance. So make sure you book the table especially if you want a table at the terrace.

Some great, some disappointing

My girlfriend and I had dinner there twice while we stayed on Elba. While it was mostly good, the issues were significant enough that I do not think I would return. The good: - Almost all the food we had was fantastic - great pasta, great fish appetizers, excellent steak, excellent dessert, good wine at reasonable prices. - Most of the staff was great, including the head waiter. After an item was added to our check improperly, he gave us free grappa to make up for it. The bad: - Both nights we had to wait an extremely long time between getting our first and second courses. The second night I timed it and it took over an hour from when our pastas were cleared til the second course arrived. This while all other tables were served quickly (some arrived after us but completed the same number of courses and left before us). We suspect it had something to do with our server Davide, who seemed inattentive / slow and also messed up our check. - The crusted tuna we ordered was pretty terrible. I suspect the oil used to fry it was not hot enough, maybe because it took so long to start cooking the dish that they turned off the ovens. I was not able to finish it, it was so bad. Additionally, it was poorly seasoned. I also suspect this was not generally the case as many other diners ordered it and seemed to enjoy it.

Excellent food and great location

This traditional Italian restaurant with a modern twist, located on the beach at Marino Di Campo, is a real gem. With a rather large group (16) I decided to book this restaurant for dinner well in advance - going by some of the reviews I'd read. We were frankly not disappointed - the only thing better then the sea view at Da Piero was the fantastic food and wine.The waiting staff led by the fabulous Kara, made us all feel very welcome and really could not do enough to make this a truly unforgettable experience. If you are in Marino di Campo, this is not to be missed!

Great food, delicious local wine

We spent very nice couple of hours at Da Piero just after sunset and enjoyed great food with the sea view. The restaurant is located on the beach that is crowded during the day but it's peaceful when you come for a dinner. Pasta with mussels and cherry tomatoes on a "black ink" as primo piatto and polpo e melone (octopus and melon) as secondo piatto were great combination accompanied with delicious local withe wine. The price was around 90 euros for two and worth every penny.
