We returned to have lunch in this Langa restaurant which for the umpteenth time confirmed the excellence in the choice of seasonal raw materials and the professional preparation of the chef who creates dishes that allow for ever new, refined and very pleasant culinary experiences. Two tasting menus and an a la carte menu are offered and the friendly, attentive dining room staff is ready to satisfy any need for clarification and variation. Plates and cutlery are replaced with each course which is very accurate in the visual and compositional presentation. Interesting value for money. Always an original gustatory, olfactory and visual experience.

Finding Piedmontese Flavor Heaven in Iride

Don't let the very inconspicuous access road deter you from a visit. We arrived at Iride shortly before 2:00 PM, hoping to get a small bite to eat without a reservation. However, the very friendly and attentive waiter immediately recommended two different full menus. We decided on the "Un’Altra Langa." After a varied and exciting amuse-bouche, we enjoyed a flavorful tartare with herb zabaglione and mustard compote. This was followed by an unexpected highlight: a lettuce heart (or romaine?) with crispy seeds and elderflower butter. The next course was melt-in-your-mouth borage ravioli, Bossolasco cheese/cream, and a sauce made from raw tomatoes. Then came a perfectly roasted and crispy duck breast with blueberry sauce and spinach. By now, it was almost 4:00 PM and therefore time for the "Z’Vieri" (the usually sweet afternoon snack we often have in Switzerland). So, we moved on to the excellent dessert with apricots, sorbet, lavender crumble, and a velvety peanut cream. A truly wonderful, enjoyable afternoon surrounded by beautiful Piedmontese nature, which inspired the dishes. Highly recommended.

We returned to the Iride restaurant to taste the autumn menu which confirmed the originality, creativity and care in the choice of raw materials and in the creation of the courses which are a triumph of unusual flavours, aromas and colours. Admirable is the availability and kindness of the staff who are attentive to satisfying every customer's need. It was a very pleasant gastronomic experience that we intend to repeat soon.

Winter menu tasting

We had the pleasure of tasting the winter version of the ALTA LANGA menu, characterized by the inclusion of new courses which confirm the level of excellence both in the raw materials and in the preparations (what a delight the ox with polenta and truffle foam!). As always, the service was very attentive, efficient and available to accommodate customer requests. It is certainly a restaurant to try and return to if you want to experience haute cuisine, enjoying the magnificent landscape of the Langa.

We came across this restaurant by chance, and fortunately we found ourselves in front of a real jewel set in the green of the Langhe. Delicious dinner with the two proposed menus, in which all the courses were tasty, interesting and tasty. On the advice of an old friend, after years of absence, we decided to experiment with the cuisine of this restaurant again: the result was a very pleasant experience which allowed us to taste new, refined and delicate flavors presented with care demonstrating the remarkable mastery of the chef. Just superb!

Wow….so wonderful! We visited Iride on our last evening in Italy. The setting is beautiful with outside tables. The waiters were friendly and extremely knowledgeable both about the food and wine. We chose to eat A La Carte. Our choices were so beautifully presented and the taste of each one, exciting. We drank a superb Nebbiolo, as per our waitress suggestion…excellent. All in all this restaurant is an amazing experience.

I have known and frequented this restaurant for years... and every time Isaia knows how to renew himself, innovate and propose flavors and tastes from the Langa that blend perfectly with flavors from all over the world!! A great hand in my opinion today assisted by competent and proactive dining room staff The menu is extensive and tasty like the entrees, tasty elephant rabbit gyoza and the connoisseurs' marinated mackerel... Incredible meal at a beautiful location

One of the best meals you will have in the region. The chef is incredibly attentive to dietary needs, and the food is so fantastic that any substitution seems to be well thought and equally delicious. Beautiful setting, and a great selection of wine. We go there each visit!

3 wonderful evenings at Ristorante Iride with Isaia and his team. Starting with the nicely prepared coperti: cannoli with fish puree; corn waffle with porcini cream. The trout with black chickpeas was delicious; the venison was a poem with an elderberry sauce that was second to none. On the 3rd day, as a surprise, the snails on lentil cream. The desert was simply a poem and showed creativity, such as porcini meringue, potato and vanilla puree and walnut ice cream.
