The two stars for grumpy owner, the burger was unconventional, who knew adding caramelized onion to a burger would make it so yummy- and the sweet potato fries were pretty good as well - so what’s the issue the owner at the grill was so...grumpy, and it wasn’t even busy, food was good, would not come here again for bad customer serviceMore

We choosed this based on recommendations here and were terribly disappointed. We spend 1 month in NZ and this was most terrible food we ate downunder. Burgers were overfilled with to many things, and the taste was just disgusting so the majority ended in the...trash bins. We also ordered fried muscles which was said to be made based on the best secred recipe and we got it burned black. We take it back and at least got a refund for it.More

A convenient walk from our accommodation, we had been told this was well worth the visit. We ordered our food and planned to return home to eat. The burgers were HUGE. Absolutely fresh cooked and delicious. There are tables there but no alcohol available

This place is amazing! I went here after a day walk of Abel Tasman with 2 friends, it was just what we needed! The chicken burger was delicious with satay sauce and avocado. I also tried my first deep fried Moro.. incredible!! Thank you so...much, keep up the good work!More

We are not burger eaters but this place is something else! Fab flavours-not just meat-we are veggie and loved the beetroot burger! Must try Kumara fries-wow! Be prepared to wait-it’s worth it. Street food at its best!

Visited here after several recommendations. The burgers were very big but over complicated by a lot of salad and relish. Was busy so good atmosphere. They don’t serve beer here which would have gone down well with our burgers! Kumara fries were tasty!

If you go to this neck of the try and you want a feed, make sure you go here. Burgers to die for made to order, vegetarian, fish, chicken and different types of meat all with super fillings and fresh cut salad. Divine!

Stopped by for lunch having seen all the amazing reviews, but honestly can’t understand the hype. The burgers were beyond average, definitely not ‘gourmet’ burgers like some reviews state. They were filled with lots of stuff including rice (First time found rice in my burger?!)...and pickles (most of population doesn’t like pickles so that’s not the best ingredient really). Also ordered Kumara chips, they were covered in mayo, and way too dry, so didn’t eat them. Overall, very disappointing which is a shame as it’s a great location and the track is a very cool idea as well.More
