We have not been here since before the Pandemic when we used to come even so often. Glad to say it’s still very good. All four of us had Menu Del Dia and we were not disappointed. Only slight criticism was lamb was slightly dried but still tasty. Staff were excellent special mention to Daniela who served us with a smile and was very attentive. We speak reasonable Spanish so we’re able to translate the menu to our friends, however, Daniela did speak some English we suspect but was happy for us to translate. Will be back again soon as it’s nice wholesome food and not pretentious.

Visited on the off chance we could be seated for supper while the Liverpool/Barcelona football game was on, and we got lucky. Chose the menu del dia for 17 Euros each and we were stunned by the sheer volume of beautifully presented, tasty and well cooked food. Starters were served on platters... More than enough for probably 6 or 8 people! We were given bread (a whole loaf!) with allioli, serrano ham with manchego cheese, a russian salad, a large mixed tuna/egg/anchovy/olive/carrot/lettuce salad then followed by our individual (also huge) mains and home made fabulous desserts and then coffee. The waitress was lovely and helpful, the ambience of the restaurant very authentically Spanish (a lovely change from the few other places which mainly cater forthe English) and all in all we were thoroughly delighted and considered this the BEST place ro eat in Daya Vieja! Highly recommended

We had a good meal in La Cana . We went in the evening and there was a couple of family's there all had good meals and kids liked what they had.

Amazing site! the broth with balls like my grandmother's, the rabbit and mountain rice a spectacle, the delicious tapas, to all this you add very good attention from Samuel, the waiter who served us, very professional, attentive, fast and pleasant . Don't forget to order the cake for dessert.

€140 for 3 people..... with beer mugs at €9, thigh at €10, chaplain's salad at €12, it's not difficult to go out for more than €45 per person...And thank goodness we didn't order cheese and ham to the center.... Anyway, let's say that the atmosphere is like a motorcycle lunch bar, and the food is good... but for that price you are going to Barlovento, Angelín, Silvino, El Buey, Alma, Vela Beach. ..

It must be said that on very few occasions we have eaten so well, the stew with Pelotas is to give the Oscar for the best stew and the rest of the dishes we ate were all very very good, the grilled meat was the best we have ever tried. The attention of the waiters, a score of 10 and the very cozy rooms. I encourage you to continue doing your job so well, you have gained a new client. Congratulations.

The food is simple, some dishes are very good, other less. The sopa de pelotas, the French fries and the grilled peppers are very tasty. The grilled meat is a bit chewy and dry. We came here regularly during weekdays, and found it affordable for a family of 5. Last time, we came on a Saturday and had the weekend menu for 2, since there is no menu del dia in the weekend, and a separate main course, dessert and drinks for the 3 children, expecting there would be a combi price for the children. Because of our past visits we didn't bother to check the prices, expecting it would be only a bit more expensive than normally. Drinks were just three cokes, 1 peach juice and 2 bottles of water. The weekend special menu has somewhat larger portions and 2 more starters, but is not so much different from the weekday menu. I am a big eater, but this was too much, we didn't finish many of the plates. We were shocked when the bill came in at EUR 126.50, as the weekend menu turned out to cost EUR 30 per head, and the children's food was priced a la carte at a total of around EUR 22 per head. On top of this the grilled chicken ordered for 2 children was burnt. This feels very overpriced, both for the segment of the restaurant market La Cana is in, and regarding the price charged for almost the same food during weekdays. To their credit, the restaurant lowered the price for the children somewhat in the end. Not sure we will come back, but certainly not on a Saturday or Sunday.

Room crowded with people. Once seated it is impossible to move. V
Screams everywhere, impossible to have a conversation. Fish stew was a concoction that was impossible to digest. I won't even mention the battered hake. Maybe in winter it will be fine, but I don't know if you would go in summer.

My favourite resturant when I come to Spain, I especially love all the starter courses on the set menu and have this everytime I visit. The servering staff don't speak much English but we always get by. It is well worth a visit.

I visited the restaurant on two occasions during my stay nearby. The service was superb as was the choice of dishes. The sirloin steak was mouth wateringly delicious. A Spanish family run business worth a visit.

We have been here several times and have never been disappointed, the staff are very welcoming. Lot’s of food always fresh we took our German neighbours and they loved it.

I have been to this restaurant a number of times and haven’t had a bad meal. The steaks are cooked on the bbq and cooked to perfection. The food is lovely and so is the staff. They don’t speak English but you manage.

Authentic Spanish restaurant with a warm welcome. Menu del noche is delicious and of the highest quality. Tuna, chicken and lamb delicious, service first class with candle in the best almond cake ever! A real treat every visit, we will be back!

This is a really nice restaurant that offers good spanish food. They make you feel very welcome and are very accomodating to children. Its great to see your food being cooked on the BBQ. Its good value for money and great service would high recommend.
