Our first visit to The Brit for dinner since it became Harbour Kitchen upstairs and we couldn’t have enjoyed it more. The food was excellent, really tasty and cooked to perfection. We shared the bread and oil to start, had the Cajun Chicken and HK Burger for mains and the Key Lime Pie for pudding. Great to hear so many of the ingredients are sourced locally and we felt the quality of the food was good value. Amy and her team were friendly and very attentive. We live locally and can’t wait to come back again soon.

An excellent restaurant! The Harbour Kitchen is in an excellent location with superb views of the harbour(try to book a window seat for the best views). We were well looked after by Amy and team and service was timely throughout. I had the fish & chips, and my wife had the creamed mushrooms starter, but as a main. Fish and chips were excellent but the secret on the plate were the'bashed peas'-superb, don't change this!
I had a mouthful of my wife's mushrooms and it was very nice, very rich in its flavours. Good choice of beers (from the pub downstairs) and a good range of wines as well.
So very much worth the trip, busy on the night we were there (a Tuesday) so might be worth booking early. Enjoy all!

Really great- good food charming people and a lovely space. Relatively inexpensive above a friendly pub. I have to say that the food that we ate in and around Aberdyfi and which we bought from shops, including the local butcher was first class and fairly priced. A much better selection than where we live.

Booked for 5:30 , chose starter but told one wasn’t available then told the Cowboy chilli would not be ready for an hour after booking . Service was good but food pretty ordinary for the price had to settle for Cajun chicken just a plate of chicken & chips really £14.50 !!!

Very Average!! Watercress on starter was Yellow which tells me it's not fresh and the White Wine and Garlic sauce tasted like it was out of a jar. Had the Dressed Crab. Crab itself was nice but the New Potatoes were not Seasoned only with a hint of Mint but needed Proper Seasoning ie Salt and Pepper. It came with a Salad of which was so boring with no dressing just thrown on the plate. The Sourdough Bread wasn't very nice and tasted stale.These to me are basic things that should be right Overall wouldn't rush back and was disappointed and was so looking forward to our evening meal as we had heard it was u der new management.

We have visited Aberdovey for 12+ years & every summer wished for somewhere to eat exactly like Harbour Kitchen. The restaurant is a gem of an addition to the area! Everyone on our table had different meals so it was only right to have a little taste test of each and everything tasted incredible!! Fab children’s menu too which consists of great choices of good quality food for the small ones too. You can clearly tell this restaurant is run by passionate owners who enjoy great food but also love to give fantastic customer service, as the team they have working there are brilliant. Despite the typical ‘British summer’ the view from the restaurant was stunning even in the pouring rain. Can’t wait to return!!

We went as friends for dinner & it was everything & more.
Staff were amazing, friendly & helpful, not rushing you to order & giving time to ponder the menu on hand to answer questions about the menu.
The atmosphere is lovely & welcoming with lots of little things that make it special…real flowers & candles on the table & the cutlery cutely tied together.
The food was amazing & spoilt for choice.
Beautiful views over the estuary & a lovely little balcony for the warmer months.
The fact it is always booked speaks volumes.

Disappointed with our evening as we were expecting a better experience having seen the good reviews. We were told there was no cider available but later saw others enjoying ciders which their waitress had collected from the bar below the restaurant. We had the cod and chip and salmon with crushed potatoes. Cod was fine but salmon was a tail end piece which meant that there was only a tiny bit of edible salmon.

A very welcoming host made us feel at home and found us a table for six plus two dogs. The food was great and we'll priced. Our party had starters of garlic mushrooms and salmon fish cakes. We then had house burgers and kebabs all perfectly cooked and presented. Highly recommend.

What an absolute treat! We went for Sunday lunch and it was absolutely fantastic- really tasty, fresh ingredients served with pride. Would highly recommend 5* Wish Amy & Adam every success in their fabulous new venture!

We had a lovely evening at The Harbour Kitchen the food was very good and staff exceptionally attentive. The Harbour Kitchen is tucked away above The Britannia pub and you enter through the side door. I would strongly recommend anyone to give it a try.

Excellent location right on the seafront has been through many iterations over the years. The current owners are offering a restaurant that fits with its location much more than just another 'pub' restaurant. Nice ambience ,friendly and attentive staff. Straight forward menu but well cooked, nicely presented and clearly quality ingredients. Not too many good restaurants in the area but this is certainly worth a visit but make sure you book as it gets busy in the summer!

Lovely Easter Sunday lunch, the food was all freshly, home cooked and beautifully presented, cauliflower cheese was lovely, plenty of vegetables and extra gravy too.
I am vegetarian and the cauliflower steak was a delight, the new owners are lovely, we had a large table with 4 children and they made every effort to fit us in, when I contacted them.
Absolutely recommend and can’t wait to come again. The window views are also lovely.

Lovely atmosphere, amazing views of the dovey harbour, window seat highly recommend.
Whilst they were very busy serving a table of 22 obviously very popular, it in no way affected our table of six service or quality of food, all were blown away with the quality home cooked food we received. Particularly the signature steak with insane pepper corn sauce,

What a treat to find this place.
Only open since March 2024... soooo glad we were recommended it.
Warm welcome and all the staff were genuinely friendly.
Special shout out to the ? Restaurant Manager who noticed me having a 'flush' and came and opened a window for me 🥰
The food was incredible... the Lamb Cutlets were amazing.... we got the last 2 portions much to the dismay of the table next door!!!
Great atmosphere.. the place was buzzing.
Lovely little touch of the bill being presented in a little book about marine preservation 🧜♀️
An absolute must if visiting the area.
