Absolutely delicious breakfast my family had here. It was honestly the best vegetarian breakfast I have ever had. It is very clear the chef cares about the food, the customer and cooks things to perfection . Would highly recommend 100 percent

We stayed overnight in the guest house so not there to dine for the fish menu. The menu is limited. I tend to eat chicken and white meat and there was nothing on the menu to cater for that. That said the food we did order was really good quality and very good.

We had dinner here on Sunday night - I had the sea bream and my partner had the sea bass. Both very well cooked and my partner particularly liked the accompaniments with his fish. Our server was very helpful and friendly and we both enjoyed our meal very much, Inside the restaurant is lovely and had a great ambiance - would recommend

Food adequate, portions small and service acceptable until the ‘accident’.
My 10 month old grandson was almost the victim of a catastrophic negligence oversight. The incompetent staff did not assemble the high chair offered correctly.
The chair collapsed with him strapped in it.
Fortunately, his head didn’t hit the floor but the shock upset him and the 12 other members of the party. I was particularly traumatised. Things were made worse by the staff, who seemed concerned “Oh dear how awful, it’s never happened before”.
Off course there was no “So sorry”, as that would be admitting fault. When I spoke tearfully to the manager, I offered the only cash on me £50 towards upgrading the high chair, so as to reassure me that a safer option be considered. The Lady declined my generous gesture, with the “we’re really tight on space” response and still no apology. No liability admission, legal proceedings to begin 26/02/2024.
If you buy the cheapest IKEA furniture, follow the assembly instructions before giving it to customers.

Having spent the weekend enjoying great service and food at Nefyn and Caernarfon, we decided to stop on our way South to have a drink to break up the journey, and to see what the hype was about Aberdyfi.
The choice was not great on a Sunday afternoon. We found that dogs were more welcome than humans in this little seaside town, with one small shop dedicated wholly to dogs and doggy ice cream.
Anyway, having walked one way along the front and finding nothing that invited us in, we walked back towards the car park and saw that there were people sitting outside Sea Breeze having drinks.
The outside seating area was full, so we entered into the indoor seating area where whom we presumed to be the owner/manager was busy on the phone. Another lady was seated at a table beyond the bar/reception area reading a paper. With two of our group of four having taken seats at the window to enjoy the view, the lady who had been seated reading the paper approached and we asked about drinks. She rather smugly informed us that they were only serving drinks for people in the outside seating area.
One of our party explained that the outside seating area was full, the lady/female then sarcastically shrugged her shoulders, raised her arms and smirked.
This is not a welcoming establishment, the lady who dealt with us needs to have lessons on how to deal with customers in the hospitality sector, poor show. You have ensured that a group of four people will never enter the seaside town, or spend money at Aberdyfi ever again.
I would advise this lady to take a trip up to the Lleyn Peninsula or Caernarfon in order to take lessons in how you should deal with customers. Remember, every person who has a negative experience on average tells 7 people. When you treat people with contempt word will get around.

Food was limited for dinner if you're a vegetarian and some of the staff were a bit grumpy. The young lady with the long hair was the only staff member that made the effort to make us welcome. Despite the recommendation to eat there we were disappointed. Not a convivial atmosphere.

Will definitely be back - we got here at 8am (today) and had a fantastic Welsh breakfast (minus the black pudding) which was piping hot and really tasty.
Staff was excellent and very friendly. We sat outside but interior was really attractive and we would go back another time to enjoy the atmosphere in there.
The food was really fairly priced and of great quality and we felt genuinely welcome. And our dog was also very welcomed!.
Excellent spot for a bite to eat (and we wanted to go back for the mussels they had on their menu which looked amazing!). Left very happy and full for a hard day in the beach 😊
Great advert for Aberdyfi hospitality.

Whilst the food was fine dining at its best the portions were exceptionally generous
I had the slow cooked Confit Belly Pork cooked to perfection with very tasty crispy crackling and served with Carrot Purée, fondant potato, garlic kale ,apple cider jus ,caramelised apple and an amazing pork and black pudding croquet This was followed by a sweet of Eton Mess served in a large glass bowl and was the epitome of what an Eton Mess should look like and taste like.
My wife had the Pan Fried local Sea Bass which came with Marinated Prawns and as my wife has an allergy to shellfish they removed these from the order without hesitation and assured her that there would be no contact whatsoever with any shellfish. She described the meal as exceptionally good and cooked to perfection
She followed this with Ice cream based mango and passion fruit cheesecake and never having experienced this type of cheesecake before was pleasantly surprised and described it as delicious.
The staff were all extremely polite pleasant and helpful throughout the meal and we have no hesitation in visiting again
Thank you for a very pleasant and enjoyable evening all at the Seabreeze

This review is really an update of my previous reviews, the last one I think was in 2017. We, and two other couples took advantage of their winter deal £140.00 per room bed, breakfast and evening meal. That has got to be one of the best deals around. We happened to have chosen probably the coldest, snowiest and windy three days of the winter. We had room 3, sea facing, very comfortable and warm. The staff as always were were friendly, attentive and very professional. The food was excellent, obviously prepared by a chef who knows his trade. We keep returning to Seabreeze on walking holidays year after year.It really is a gem of a place

Absolutely fantastic meal. Great value and portion sizes. We had the mussels, which came in a delicious sauce, with ample chips and bread. We ordered onion rings and a side salad too, but when our mains came, they had forgotten about all of the sides. The staff acted quickly to rectify the situation, giving them free of charge. They were worth the wait- so delicious, and the onion rings were indeed enormous! A great choice of drinks too. Overall, the best meal we had in our week's stay in aberdovey.

Alway book here when in aberdovey and have eaten here for years food is outstanding we booked a table a few weeks ago for which i had booked a month before. On arrival front of house asked if we had booked and when i replied yes she looked unconvinced as if they were not expecting us, no pleasant welcome or good evening. Were shown to our table and we really felt as if we were not supposed to be there no conversation no atmosphere food was very good as usual but i could not eat my salmon as it contained lots off bones even though it was fillet and they did take it off the bill but we didnt enjoy the evening at all and sadly will not be returning after 10 years of dining here

This restaurant is an understated gem!
We had a superb meal - calamari and scallops to start followed by the best sea bass and pork belly ever eaten in a restaurant.
The friendly, attentive staff were amazing and the place itself welcoming with a wonderful atmosphere.
Cannot recommend this place highly enough. We could not get in on our previous visit to Aberdyfi, so I would advise booking in advance. Thank you Seabreeze for a fabulous evening. We will be back next year.

Went here for dinner tonight with my 3 daughters (7, 4 and 1) and had the most delicious meal I've eaten in ages. Thai broth steamed mussels and filet of sea bass for me, more mussels and whole roasted sea bream for my husband, and pizza and spag bol for the kids. I was a bit nervous about bringing the children because it is a smart looking restaurant but we were made to feel so welcome and once it filled up the kids chattering didn't make any difference. Would highly recommend for the food, and the atmosphere. I'm sure we will go back.

From the moment we walked in we knew this was going to be a great experience.
The decor is stunning and high quality, the staff are warm and friendly and the views stunning.
There was a great selection to choose from for breakfast and my husband and I both opted for the Full Welsh. The black pudding was the best we have ever tasted and everything was cooked to perfection.
We had opted to sit outside but half way through the temperature dropped. The waitress noticed this and asked us if we would like the heaters on which was great and very attentive.
Our breakfast was £8 which was great value for money as the size and quality were perfect.
