Great value breakfast served with crusty bread which has all but disappeared in cafes these days. I had A jumbo breakfast which was £4.50 and £550 with coffee. Two eggs two bacon two sausages mushrooms beans and tomatoes. There was fried bread included which I...swapped for a Second slice of crusty bread. The plate was not greasy, the eggs were soft in the middle, and everything was piping hot. What more could you want from a Cafe? I have now started using this café on a semi regular basis. I will try the fresh coffee today.More

Yes it’s a little dated but that is more than made up with the friendly staff and great food. This is our cafe of choice in the town been in most of them. It’s a great little spot can get busy and noisy at times...but this just shows how popular it is. The menus are set but not in stone as I change a couple of things out each time depending on what I want and it’s never any trouble. Picture shows the chefs special that was devoured by one of the lads leaving a clear plate.More

On a weekend if we want to go out for breakfast we will always try and get to the Windmill cafe. All food is cooked to order therefore there might be a slight delay as this is a popular cafe. Staff are always welcoming and...helpful. Great value for money.More

Just left this very friendly cafe having enjoyed tea and bacon sandwiches. Busy atmosphere thanks to amiable group of French visitors who were about to embark on their first full English. Staff very welcoming. Highly recommended.
