Wow what a busy little place! We arrived for when they opened at 8.30am and within 10 minutes it was full. We ordered a big breakfast each £5.50 and it was huge, 2 sausage, loads of bacon, mushrooms, hash brown, 2 eggs, (we asked for no black pudding) fried bread, baked beans and tinned tomatoes. Plus it came with a plate of toast with butter and selection of jams! To say we were stuffed was an understatement but it certainly kept us going all day ! We had a pot of tea and milky coffee to wash it all down lol ! All for the price of £14 in total ! Excellent value. Service was good, faster than I expected and a nice clean environment. Great place and would eat here again that’s for sure.

Visited twice for breakfast this past weekend when on a short break to Skegness. On both days, the staff member was welcoming and attentive. Another customer, sitting close by advised that ‘everything on the menu is good’ and we were not disappointed. Tea/coffee was delivered a few moments after our order was taken and our food, delivered a short time later was fresh, hot, cooked well and well presented. The fresh coffee was also good. Overall, very impressive and great value for money!

What a great little traditional cafe this is. We visited for breakfast after seeing the good reviews on trip advisor and was not disappointed. The breakfast was reasonably priced and included a full English with hot drink & toast, everything was freshly cooked & piping hot, served by the very polite waitress with a smile. Next time we’re in Skegness we will definitely be returning to this cafe.

We visited on Friday 17 July 2020 and as usual the food was excellent He does the best breakfast in Skegness and at a reasonable price. Staff are always friendly and polite and even though they are slow at making the drinks the friendliness and excellent food makes up for it. I would definitely recommend to anyone

After looking around to see what places a visiting couple could have breakfast we chose the Cosy Corner. We got there at about 9 am and we sat outside as per the current rules. The tables and chairs outside are under the canopy so none of the weather can get to you. We ordered and the cooked breakfast arrived quickly. The portion size was great and the cost was even better. The waitress was very polite and very helpful. The cafe is CASH only but there is an ATM about 50 yards up the road. THe two breakfasts and drinks came to just over £12 which is great considering that is one meal in most places!

Had steak pie chips and peas here plus capaccino, excellent. Steak pie was home made plenty of filling very tasty nice pastry, chips crisp and hot gravy jug was a good size no itsy bitsy jug that I find annoying other places. Cappachino really good, best I have had in a cafe for a while. Partner had egg chips toast and was also very happy. Friendly efficient hardworking staff. It deserves to do well, there are some really cute touches like the piggie salt and pepper that just tip it over into quant and an enjoyable place to be. The place is spotless, including loos. Reasonable prices. Well done to them big thumbs up from us.

Visited the cosy corner cafe last year when we visited Skeggy and it was fantastic so made sure we visited this year for Sunday dinner but wished we didn't. Wife started with vegetable soup but it was so over powering with spice she could not eat it. We then both had roast beef dinner but then the wife found a very long hair in it and put her off straight away, she then mentioned it to the waitress who offered to change it for something else but the damage was done all she wanted to do was leave. It not only ruined her Sunday lunch but ruined mine as well. Visited June 27th but will never be going back.

We have owned a caravan in Skaggy for a few years and was looking for somewhere new to have breakfast. The Cosy Corner was found on trip advisor and I will say that the great reviews they are getting on here are true! The staff are really friendly with a great relationship with their regular customers. The full English was really tasty, reasonably priced and brought to the table quickly. We will be visiting this cafe again as the menus are varied for their breakfast and lunchtime service.

Best value for money that I’ve found. Friendly staff if you leave there hungry it’s your own fault. Owner Michal is a great cook and the service is quick, also during lockdown he has done a great phone order and a delivery service for meals at home around the Skegness area. I’ll be back next time in Skeggy.👍

Following a Trip Advisor ‘ Worthy places to eat in Skegness’ we booked to have lunch today ( 8th July 22 ) We highly recommend The Cosy Corner. A well laid out cafe , clean and beautiful decor. A varied menu to choose from. Lots of ‘home cooked ‘ options with well cooked good sized portions that are excellent value for money . Service was prompt with all meals arriving together and piping hot. We had homemade chicken pie and homemade steak pie as main course. I also had the homemade apple crumble with custard. Also a good portion served piping hot . Excellent service, pleasant , friendly staff . VERY good value for money Definitely worth a visit 👍

Absolutely lovely food and fantastic value. Very friendly staff, who seem to go out of their way to make sure everyone is happy. The locals don't even need a menu as she knew what they wanted as soon as they came in.

I checked this cafe out on trip advisor prior to visiting Skegness as I am gluten free veggie and this has good reviews and specifies both. It is a cafe not really a restaurant and the local food hygiene star rating shown in the door is 4 out of 5. There was a lot of choice on the menu and it was busy with locals which was a good sign. I asked about the gf options and was told there was gf bread. However I wanted a hot meal but nothing in the menu specified the options. The waitress was fine but didn't know anything about gf and so I went for egg and chips knowing that the chips were probably cross contaminated. The waitress asked me if I wanted beans and I reiterated I was gf and she sort of shrugged and so I said no beans. The meal was very nice and Service was timelyy. It was cash only which was fine with us. I would go again but I wouldn't say it was gf or veggie friendly particularly without the knowledge needed on ingredients or possibly preparation to avoid cross contamination for those who have zero ability to tolerate even a tiny amount of cross contamination.

Excellent value, clean and friendly cafe. The owner could not have been more helpful, the menu varied and our meals on both of the days we visited were piping hot, very ample quantity, freshly made and of great quality ingredients. I had the haddock and chips on one occasion in particular and it was really good. All five in our party had a lovely time in a relaxed atmosphere, chatting and catching up after a long time apart.

What a little gem of a cafe. Discovered after reading a few reviews on Trip Advisor we decided on this place for breakfast. I of course had the large breakfast and my more petite partner went for the medium. This place isn’t about size though it’s about quality and presentation and both were in abundance. Two bacon, two sausage, two eggs, fried bread ,black pudding and beans all wonderfully cooked (Hot beans a rarity) in a lot of cafes, accompanied by toast jam and a pot of tea. Lovely staff to top it off as well. As I said previously this breakfast oasis is not about size but it’s big on that too. Just to mention total bill with a couple of added orange juices £13.20. Put the change in the tip box they deserve it. We have the pleasure of going back next weekend, I’m sure this establishment will not disappoint.

Called in here at New Year as read all the rave reviews of how good the breakfast was! Very warm welcome from staff and good service from them. My one big gripe about this place is superb breakfast BUT, why use cheap, horrible sausages??? I just never understand this! all good except 2 cheap sausages that barely have a scrap of meat in them! can I suggest you do a budget breakfast for those that don't care and shop on price alone and maybe offer a luxury breakfast with a local butchers sausages? I would happily pay the extra for better quality, it really is the difference between going back again and trying somewhere else next time I am looking for a full english. Sorry if I sound critical but regular customers keep businesses going. Buy your sausages from a local quality butchers and shout it from the roof tops! not cheap and nasty that I would not give to my dog. I may well call in again soon and see if you listen to your customers :)

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you've had such an unpleasant experience with us. Although our sausages may not be to your taste, all of our regular customers enjoy the sausages we serve and we can assure you they are not cheap. We do however offer other sausages too, such as our linconlshire sausages wich we also buy at our local butchers. Hopefully you will have a better experience with us next time. Kind regards, The Cosy Corner team
