After spending several hours at the Munch Museum, my wife and I stopped into the Munch Restaurant for a glass of wine and some snacks. More than anything, we wanted to see the views from the top of the museum. While the prices are a...tad bit high and might make you "Scream", I would argue that you simply cannot get views like thin from just anywhere. We each enjoyed a nice glass of Riesling along with a side of olives and a cheese plate. I felt it was worth every bit of $52.00 . The waitress was pleasant and very attentive. If you visit the museum, this is a must see place too. Munch would have wanted it that way!More

Stay away. Tourist trap. Overcrowded and not a nice atmosphere. Very expensive food, even for Oslo. And the food was tasteless. And the service really, really slow. Long lines.

Friendly staff, good choice in the menu but it's expensive for sure. I had the pâté en croûte "postei i skorpe". Excellent! Terrible coffee though...
