The place has more than a restaurant feel than a bar. Used to have great food and we were going often for drinks after work.
Every time we go there lately its almost empty and last time whoever ordered burgers left hungry. I actually thought...they ordered mini burgers when i saw them! :)
Hoping to see some changes so we can visit again.More
It’s ok if you want to have a beer and watch football games but definitely NOT a place to have lunch/dinner.
Quality of the food deteriorated over the last months. Our order was way over cooked and quite oily, practically uneatable. Left it almost untouched....No attention from the waiters nor the management. Still charged us the full price even though they admitted their mistake!!!!
Will not be going there againMore
Visited here with friends and partner. What can I say about the food!
I’m usually a prawn hater but omg the prawns in the pastry starter was out of this world. I then had the Cuban Burger, wow it was huge! Everything home made...including the bread roll, the burger itself was melt in the mouth, tasty and very expertly cooked.
Don’t go here if you are looking for small portions as you won’t find them. Superbly talented Jesus the head chef if certainly an asset to this venue.
Great choice of beers and branded spirits including great gin selection.
A DEFINITE VISIT FOR VISITORS TO NICOSIA OR LOCALS.More
We had lunch on Sunday at Finbarr’s. We booked our table a couple of days in advance as the place is a popular one – booking the table was done over the phone and was a simple and hassle-free process.
The dining room was clean,...comfortable and decorated in a nice, traditional Irish way. The staff were very pleasant and courteous and service was first class – twice during our meal they came to check that all was well.
We ordered an American Burger, Kotsi and a salad. All the dishes were very well presented, tasty and really huge in quantity – we could not finish them!
Prices were logical, giving good value-for-money.
We recommend Finbarr’s and will definitely call again!More
I have visited Finbarr’s three times during the last couple of months. Everything I tasted (pork chop, chicken souvlaki, meat platter etc) was good. I like the environment too.
However, we always face a service issue. During our last visit, they served us a wrong...beer twice (other the one we ordered), and a Caesar salad without chicken (the chef forgot it, and he added chicken after our complaints).More
Visited friends working in Nicosia and the bar has recently been taken over within the last couple of weeks. Staff very friendly and food very good. Shows live sports and good range of beers definitely worth a try.
The new menu is excellent especially if you are a burger fan, there are so many choises. I come here often with my friends on football night, they have plenty screens where you can see the match and good sound system. Sometimes, when it's full...the food gets a little bit delayed but it's worth it. Great job guys !More
