Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantastic little cafe. Perfect spot for a lunch break with easy parking and simple to rejoin the highway. Beautifully clean and modern inside with lovely mosaic tables, colourful chairs and coffee served in matching teacups and saucers. We were really surprised by how lovely it...was inside. Had a delicious bacon and egg pie and a toasted sandwich. Service was great with friendly hosts and helpful recommendations for our onwards travel. Finally, coffee was fantastic!! Great find.More

We visited Oriya Downs to purchase locally made sheepskin carseat covers. Zamico is on the West side of S.H1 and is in a former church. The interior is very attractively presented and there is a covered courtyard where our two dogs were welcomed with a...bowl of water. The menu is not extensive but everything on offer is freshly made by the owners who have also created all the ceramic artworks on display. Well worth a visit followed by a visit to the sheepskins over the road.More

This was a nice place to stop on the side of the highway for a quick cuppa. Good signage and easy parking. It was tidy and clean. The service was quick and friendly. The artwork was a treat to enjoy too.

You tend to get in a bit of a dream when driving the Himatangi straights, but this time we saw the signs and decided it was time for a coffee stop. We were not dissapointed. Lovely coffee and food and excellent hosts. Great to hear...about the region and view the mosaics.More

This is an unusual and interesting coffee shop on a rather dull stretch of SH1. The coffee is lovely; and there's a selection of delicious cakes, including gluten-free options. What makes it special is the artwork. There are mosaics everywhere, and floral decorations on the...walls of the sitting-out area made of teacups and saucers. Worth planning your journey to include a stop here.More

Zamico is a fairly new cafe in an excellent location on SH1 South of Sanson. The oweners have worked hard to convert an old church to this clean, bright space where one is surrounded by their mosaic creations. The service was good, the coffee was...hot and smooth and the scone just warm from the oven!More
