This is our local restaurant. They serve excellent fish or seafood diches. My favourate is fish and chips. They are outstanding and very local. Just love going there when I would like someone else cook my meal.

Lovely restaurant and great food. The friendly service and quality of cuisine was excellent. I would say that this was the best restaurant I sampled in the city.

The fish was so fresh and delicious. Lots of interesting options, the staff was very friendly, and the prices were reasonable (considering Iceland) for fresh custom dishes.

Visited for lunch, was really good! For lunch they served us with complementary soup and bread, which also was very tasteful. Would recommend!

Open for for lunch Monday to Friday and the whole day and dinner Tuesday to Saturday. The restaurant is closed on Sunday's.Gallery Fiskur is located next to the Arbaer open-air museum in Reykjavik and right by one of the main roads from the city center. The restaurant is easily accessible by public transport since several bus-lines stop at Artun close by, bus no 24 from Mjodd stops right out side.The restaurant serves fresh seafood, traditional Icelandic fish dishes and lamb dishes among vegetarian bake, soups and salad in a bright and welcoming dining room decorated with works of art from local Icelandic artists. The exhibitions in the dining room change regularly.
