Set a little way back from the sea this friendly restaurant is well worth seeking out. it is not a fancy place but we had great fun and enjoyable evening there. We were seated on the street and this provided entertainment in its own right...– there was always something going on! We ordered the tarama Salata, grilled squid and yellows peas. All were excellent and went very well together. The house wine was really good, the complimentary dessert and digestive much appreciated and the bill much less than we thought.More

Came here for lunch as our last meal in Chania and we saved the best for last. The seafood platter was awesome and the black pasta so delicious. Best of all prices were really good. Would come back again if we return to Chania.

Great food, nice atmosphere, you cannot miss a meal there. we went for dinner and we got octopus salad, stuffed mushrooms, tuna and stuffed wine leaves, and a litre of house wine. Paid around 35€. Super tasty dishes! If only there was such a good...place to eat next to home, I’d go every week.More

Pros Nice traditional bread Salads come on single portions, if you are solo traveler! Sea bass was well cooked with grilled vegetables Quite cheap for seafood Cons Service was under capacity, it took 30 minutes to serve a Greek salad. The waiter also yelled at...the kitchen employees about some delayed dishes. Micro wave oven was used excessively (could hear the beep as I was sitting close to the kitchen). Waiters quarrel in front of the customers for not having foreseen inadequacies in supplies! (It was in Greek so few could understand!)More

Value for money. This place is one of the best we found in Chania. The food, service and prices is just the best value you can get. It is located at a street with many people passing so if you like “watching” this is the...best restaurant we have been dining at. Every single dish we tried was done to perfection, fish is fresh, service always on time! Fantastic place either for late lunch or dinner.More

Great food and service, both times....! Good wine recommendation from the waiter without pushing the expensive ones. Definitely would recommend to all if you like seafood.

This place is on a busy street with noisy vehicles whizzing past. BUT: if you dare to escape the seafront restaurants, you with discover this gem and will not regret it. This is the first restaurant we went to serving real, tasty, home-made Cretan food...with fresh ingredients and good service. We heaved a sigh of relief to have at last found such genuine cuisine, and all came out full and delighted.More

Local, fresh and located in a setting between quiet and touristic. Really friendly service. Overall, I would say they serve mediocre-tasting food. Not the best around but nice if you happen to stop by. I liked the octopus and fava dish even though the dip...was just covering the fact that the slightly-overcooked octopus was cut up. If you like pasta, try the chef’s ink Taglioni, it’s not bad. Although not bad, what surprised me was that they didn’t give us free dessert and alcohol! They usually do it often in Crete.More
