We had a great dinner at Tudor Hall in late April. We did the degustation menu. The food textures and presentations were amazing. The cod was wonderful. Service was both excellent and friendly. And the view of Syntagma Square and the Acropolis at sunset was magical. Oh, and the paired Greek wines were also very enjoyable. Would definitely go back.

One would think with an amazing view of Athens and the Acropolis that I would be raving about the views, but the staff and the luxurious facility is what makes this place even better! If you have Spiros, Giannis, Anna or anyone else from this staff then you will be very pleased! Thank you for making our daily breakfast an amazing way to start our day in Athens! You undoubtedly helped make our 25th wedding anniversary trip one we will never forget!

We were staying next door at Hotel Bretagne, at a time that its rooftop restaurant was still undergoing renovations. So we dining at the “sister property’s” restaurant next door. Tudor Hall. Wow. What an experience! Mains were all around 45 to 55 Euro, but a supporting act of various complimentary nibbles and petit fours helped keep the budget in check. Great wine list too. And, the evening view is amazing. Just do it !!

We had a marvelous dinner at Tudor Hall. The place was very cozy and the piano with the violin made a fantastic atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and professional .Natalia and Eleni were there to make us embrace the philosophy of the cuisine which was absolutely mouthwatering and every bite was a pleasant surprise. We had amazing cocktails and the desserts were just one of a kind and the best way to end our dinner.I could say it was one of the best dinner I had !Well done!

Nice place. Food is disappointing. Lots of gimmicky amuse bouche Main course was the smallest portion of fish I have ever seen - and some cold puree. Desert also underwhelming.

Great spot if you’re in the hotel. Completely underwhelming if you’re looking for a $500 pre fix meal for 2. Sommelier spilled wine on the white table clothes. Greek wine pairing was poor to say the best. Took 3 hours. Had to ask for the check to get out finally. Only appetizers were worthwhile. Spend your money elsewhere.

This an exceptional restaurant with a well deserved Michelin star. Location wise, itis found on the seventh floor of King George Hotel at Syntagma Square at the very center of Athens. It provides direct view to the Acropolis and the Square. There is a very atmospheric classic in design interior, as well as a terrace. Welcome was excellent. As we visited the restaurant on a weekday, there was the choice of dining either in or out. The menu is well balanced. For starters we had the Red shrimp tartare with scallops, caviar, white soya and citrus sauce, the Celery root baked in salt, horseradish, apple confit, 'apple butter' miso, truffle and hazelnuts, as well as the Seasonal wild mushrooms cooked with plums, 'vadouvan', peanut butter and mushroom tea with parmesan and truffle. The red shrimp was perhaps the least interesting as I found it less intense than what I expected. The celery was up to expectations from a one star restaurant, and the wild mushrooms were a nice surprise. For for main course we had the Saddle of lamb, as well as the Wagyu beef striploin. Both met my expectations. A trolley of miniardis served by a very polite young waiter followed. To my opinion it was only the sommelier who was slightly behind the level of the restaurant. Perhaps not his best day.

We were warned by some friends dined there recently that the view was beautiful, but the portions were small and overpriced. We were staying next door at the Grand Bretagne and decided we would try something different…mistake. Beautiful room, though were were seated in “Siberia” i.e. the interior room; if I strained my neck I could peek around the curtain and see the Acropolis; my wife could see it from her seat; a number of people complained when they were seated in there and got moved; we were told all the tables on the terrace were reserved. No view for you despite reserving way ahead. The wine list was overpriced, even for Greek wines, which were generally more reasonable in the other places we dined. The food was all about appearance and little about enjoying dining. I ordered saddle of lamb. I got four quarter-sized thinly sliced pieces about a quarter-inch thick, and a deflated thin sausage-looking kind of thing next to it. You have to be kidding me for 48 euros! We literally started laughing. We ate twice next door at The Rooftop Restaurant at The Grande Bretagne. Same view and much better food and experience!

We were having our last night in Athens and wanted it to be special.Since we were staying at the King George,we chose to have "Dinner" at the Tudor. Yes, the service and presentation is exquisite. The views are stunning. But do not eat there unless you like to pay ridiculous prices for basically is small bites. We had to laugh ,being from New York we know when we are overpaying for something but this place takes it to another level!!! We did laugh to ourselves watching other diners have the same incredulus reaction we did. I thought we were on Candid Camera! We left there wondering why the chef doesnt want anyone to eat his splendid food. Do yourselves a big favor, have a nice drink there but eat out in the strret cafes. Dont say u werent warned!!

The day of our reservation I read another review lamenting the high prices and incredibly small portions. I thought he must be exaggerating and went anyhow. He was spot on! The smallest, most expensive portions I have ever had anywhere in the world. The presentations are nice and the food is tasty, but eat slow. Good service and great view. I would never go back and can not recommend.

Having traveled and eaten at many five star restaurants globally it would be the first time I have had to leave one restaurant to have to eat at another. It was to describe simplistically a joke. From the tomato paste pre appetiser to the starter “Santorini tomatoes” to the Scallops served with peas the portions fondly reminded me of the filters of cigarette butts in size. As for the main meal, a mixture of saddle lamb and the so called chicken breast (a concoction of somewhat shredded processed chicken in portions the size of a 1c euro coin, (applicable to both main meals I might add). Who in Greece would want you to eat lamb rare. In continuation what was “rare” was the scarcity of food. Next the wine. Having chosen a good bottle of white wine from Crete I had the next first experience of having resin from a 2022 Savingnon Blanc deposited at the bottom of my glass for a mere 85 Euro a bottle. An impressive feat, much commendation to be awarded for such a cellaring achievement. I bow my head in admiration. (Please may I never desecrate my wine collection in such a way) I paid my 400 euro bill with a smile and a 10% tip with a smile. Mostly generated from the laughter from my two sons who found so much amusement from this “feast” Will add great view of the Acropolis restricted by the closed windows a non existent smoking area (which I understand is a personal dining issue). Last point and for personal amusement only the lift that carried the whole family up to the 7th floor for our “fine dining” after actually practically starving again had the nerve after starving us again to say it was overweight resulting in two lift trips on the way down after being starved of food after a third world war. Kudos to the staff they smiled after my commentary even after they knew I had been had. Honestly great service and the most expensive bread roll meal I have had after Zurich Miami Rome Toronto London Helsinki Bucharest Cape Town Maputo Kinshasa Istanbul Munich Frankfurt West Palm beach Lisbon Dubai Qatar Cardiff Warsaw Johannesburg Rome Cairo Port Louis and Windhoek and Lusaka (perhaps Windhoek and Lusaka is an unfair comparison) Just avoid if possible

We have been to many fine dining restaurants and this restaurant was exceptional. The food was inventive and creative, while being very approachable. The waitstaff were superb, with professionalism that stood out in anticipating all of our needs while being friendly and engaging. Would recommend this to all food lovers! Bonus: beautiful piano music and view of the Acropolis!!

Chose to eat here to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. Gorgeous view of the acropolis and absolutely delicious meal. We had the tasting menu which was superb, beautiful to look at and wonderful flavours. The accompanying wine from Santorini recommended by the sommelier was perfect. Thoroughly recommend

We had the Degustation (Taster)menu and it was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was a jewel to look at and a marvel to taste. The chef who composed this menu must be brilliant. The staff were knowlegable, kind and the setting, looking out over Athens is quite beautiful. OK, it was expensive, but as a treat, it was thoroughly worth it!

Syntagma
Perhaps the best place to get your bearings is Syntagma Square, crowned by the imposing Parliament building on its upper side and surrounded by other large structures, such as the exclusive Hotel Grande Bretagne. The grand avenues that lead towards Omonia are also full of massive Neoclassical edifices like the Numismatic Museum and those around smaller Platia Kolokotroni. Here you will find lots of travel agents, bookshops and fashion shops, especially on Ermou Street. Just south of Syntagma Square, you can take a breather in the lush National Gardens, which extend into the grounds of the Zappeio palace and beyond to the ancient Temple of Olympian Zeus.
