We waited a bit to be served, but it worth it ! The place was realy busy by local, which is definitely good sign. Very very good ! so tasty, so well cooked. Perfect.

The Ilha da Madeira restaurant is a traditional restaurant in the Amoreiras area. The staff is nice but the food i would say is poor. The meat quality is jot excellent and even the peixe espada has to much oil. Not a fan unfortunately.

Place where the Locals Eat

We had a quick lunch at this tiny restaurant. The fish and the shrimp was good. Service was OK and prices were very reasonable.

Really good!

The decoration is average, but the food is really good!!! The portions are very nice and everything is delicious. Service is fast and efficient. I really recommend this place, because it has a very good quality-price relation.

The real Madeira’s food

I visited tasquinha da Madeira and it has a nice atmosphere and very cozy to be with family and friends. Try the awesome “espetadas da madeira” and the special hamburgers. And also have TV to see football games that is very important.
